"Hm... then how about butter peacan pie?" Glory offered. Before taking a moment to think. "That is a romantic story behind your name. The reason I called myself such is a tribute to my closest friend. She was wounded recently in an ambush, though is already recovering quite well. Me and her would always have talks about our favorite things. She said her favorite flower was the Morning Glory because of the fact that you can only spy it's beauty it the early hours. And that it is the same flower as her favorite literature character, Arya, from Eragon. So my name is in tribute to her, as kind of a get well wish to her."

Joker nodded.
"So you seem to be enjoying yourself this evening. I think this party needs to be a bit more flashy, myself."

"Yes, or hot cocoa or egg nog. Hm... Eggnog sounds wonderful right now. And you know, lembas is deliciouse when dipped in eggnog," Glory said, then blushed. "Oh, me getting carried away with my wandering mind. Sorry."

She picked up two plates of butter peacan pie and held one out to Path. "The prayers are thankful. Though from last time I spoke with her, she was recovering well. Her wounds turning into scars which make excellent stories to tell younger ones."



"Well," Joker said with a deviouse smile. "I like to see things... blow up. But, I promised my dear Morning Glory I would do no such things today. Even though she says she likes flashy things, too. Sometimes."

Lord Death strode into the Hall, eyes flashing with fire. He started walking over, then broke into a run. In the middle of this run, he dropped to his knees and allowed his momentum to carry him right to the feet of his lady.

"M'lady Death! Forgive my tardiness, I beg you, I was kept back by pressing business in the Underworld; nought but the shades of the dead could keep me from your side!" He kissed her delicate hand and raised his head to look at her beautiful face, waiting for her forgiveness or rejection.

He trailed off as he looked around the empty room. Apparently he was the first arrival. He let out a small sigh. Such a marvelous entrance, and nobody to see it. "I really ought to work on my timing."

"You ought to work on more than that," came a familiar voice from behind him. "Why, do you realize that in the past hour over 50 people have gone out to eat? And where does that leave you? Hungry, because you weren't one of them. Where does that leave me? Pretty content; I ate before them." With that, he strode into the room.

Leila walked back in and stopped, surprised seeing only two other people in the room. "Whoa, things are a bit quiet." She walked over the the food & drink and picked up a glass, taking a drink before looking around frowning.

The Duke greeted Groucho and Leila with a bow. "It is indeed quiet today. It's rather a shame- it was such a nice party last time. Well," he picked up a glass of punch, "We can hope that more will arrive soon."

MG and Joker walk back into the room, seeing those who are back.
"Today aren't we to guess who is under the masks?" Morning Glory inquired, her fingertips brushing her ivory mask with purple petals painted on it. She then nudged Joker to go get some punch while she glides over to the others, curtsying to Duke, Leila and Groucho.
"Yes, the party was wonderful last time. It seemed to go by so fast last time."

"Come on dearest," Oreleth said, leading Celephinnon into the room. "Tis' the final day of the Masquerade and the ball will end soon."
"It looks fairly quiet in here," said Celephinnon. "It was more crowded than before."
"Indeed," Oreleth agreed. "Perhaps some left the ball early." She took Celephinnon's hand. "Come now, let us make the best of these final days." Oreleth lead her husband to the center of the room. "Hello, hello everyone, we have returned," she greeted as they past the other guests.

Time and Tide wait for no-man, but then again everyone waits for Norman. He's an important person, you know. And who can trust Tide anyway? It just hangs around in a laundry room."
