Tuesday 20th
Nurranitel chose to be buried under the big freaky oak tree, like the one in Sleepy Hollow. [don’t you need a permit to plant someone in your backyard?]
PD suggested guests explore the attic. TT, Violet, Fuschia and Nurr accompanied her (as well as too many others who tagged along to name).
Kit made a big, big (big I tell ye) fuss about not opening a certain crate in the attic until the 27th or the 28th.
For some reason there was a conversation about eyeballs. [your guess is as good as mine.. personally I prefer them to croutons but there you go]
The Headless Horseman can’t hold his liquor.
Wednesday 21st
Ea was accused of being the murderer but Kit announced that she wasn’t. (Let’s face it, had we chosen correctly first time round, we’d have all expired from the shock so I say it was a good thing we were wrong)
Kit suggested the gardens should be explored. The fountain with the naked cherub is new. A unicorn would have been preferred. [And I could think of other things to have naked in a fountain… but that’s another story]
Kit wanted to show the guests her wildflowers. Lydia and Evening were dead amongst the flowers. There was an unusual dead spider found on Lydia.
PD suggested the spider bit them both and that’s how they died.
Kitty arrived very late to the party.
Maeve reminded people that there was a fuss over spiders in connection with the exploration of the attic.
The wildflowers were imported from New Zealand and Australia. Kit thinks New Zealand is part of Australia.

Right then peeps. Let's start discussing things and get this Hallowfest really rolling.
What do we know?
We know that Nurr, Evening and Lydia were murdered. Ta-da!
*takes a bow*
We also can tentatively say how they died - Nurr with the pillows and Evening and Lydia with the spider(s). (Although Kit was the one who suggested Nurr had been smothered by a pillow so whether we should believe her or not is anyone's guess)
Questions: would one spider make all those marks on a person's neck? Would you need a pile more? Where did the spiders come from? If they came from the attic, surely Kit would have seen them before and not said they were unusual? Do the origin of the flowers have anything to do with where the spiders came from? [they have deadly ones in Australia] Why does Kit think New Zealand is part of Australia?
Questions: is the note the biggest red herring ever? Why would a revenge killing mean there were two supposedly unconnected killings? Did Lydia and Evening see something they weren't supposed to see?

I suppose we'll probably hear a little more once Lydia and Evening make their grand ghostly debut, too.
The spiders are interesting, as Lydia said in her profile that she likes collecting spiders. That's all I've thought of there.
As for the note, I'm quite confused.  Perhaps the killer just wanted to have fun by murdering a previous killer, for the sake of irony. Or perhaps it really was someone that was killed last year? The murderer might have connections to Lydia and Evening, which might explain why they were targeted this time. _________________  Banner from Nellie

Spiders are nice, as long as they're off where they won't eat me...  Otherwise, be gone with them.

Maybe I should do that.
I can see why people don't like them, but I think sometimes it's kinda expected of females not to like mice and spiders.... without spiders the world couldn't survive.
Accidental death? Anything is possible.

In hindsight I really like mice, I just hate how they pop out of crevices all of a sudden.
