Being that Kit had stolen away her precious banana costume, Kitty proceeded to dig around hastily in the chest to find a costume. She almost squealed with excitement when she saw a shimmering set of silver-blue elvish robes. Though she was once mahogany haired and dark eyed, her death had given her a shimmering pearlescent sheen that was best suited in an elf costume. Draping the costume over her shoulders, Kitty zoomed down the stairs, accidentally going through Kit and catching her up in the robes. "Oh, dear, I'm sorry!" she exclaimed.

Kit got the funnies in her stomach when Kitty accidentally tripped <i>through</i> her and she shivered. "My goodness, what an awful feeling, that is!" She exclaimed, and continued shivering until Manny came up to her.
"Oh, you're back, I see?" Kit acknowledged rather haughtily.
"Yes, ma'am. And I found this in the kitchen." Manny handed her an ordinary manila envelope. "It is not addressed to anyone, so perhaps it belongs to your Midgets."
Kit tugged on Manny's ear for the last comment and frowned at the envelope. "Strange, Hema gave me one last night."
"You must've misplaced it then," Manny said as though he knew the tendencies of his boss.
"No, I didn't because I left it in my room." Kit said with a huff and dismissed him. She excused herself from her guests and went to check her room.

"Is that another envelope?" TT called after Kit, as she left the room. A sudden flow of curiosity flooded over TT. She felt somewhat inclined to follow Kit, and see what was up, though that would be terribly improper...

(I don't have time to RP much today and I'm rather frantic because...well you all know, you love LOTR as well! ^^ So imagine that Deria randomly selected something pretty, Elvish, and something or another...yeah...)
Deria smiled. Her dark hair went well with the blues and whites of her dress. She blinked at Manny's words to Kit. "Er, Kit, is that another envelope? Do we get to see this one?"

Susy came downstairs to find the mansion transformed into Middle Earth. "Wow, you've really outdone yourself, Kit!" she exclaimed.
Her amazement turned to amusement and Susy watched Kitty sprawl through Kit. This place never dull. Even on that her attention did not last long. "Another envelope?" Maybe they could actually see this one.

[Kay, I know there aren't many people here, but I need to do this and I have to get on with bed/homework/chore.]
Kit tumbled down back into the party and noticed everyone staring at her curiously, and it was clear they couldn't wait to see what this envelope mess was all about. She couldn't stop rolling her eyes.
"The envelope I had in my room is gone," she said uneasily. "And I knew I didn't take it out since everyone was giving me such a horrible time about it this morning while I was trying to enjoy my pancakes."
She turned the new envelope over in her hand though and pondered. There was no name on it. "Did anyone lose a bit of mail?" She asked.

Holly came bounding downstairs to find Kit holding yet another envelope. "Ooh! An enevelope! Open it! Please?" She let out an unladylike screech as she tripped over the rattied edges of her gown and fell over onto the ground in front of Kit. "Please? Before I hurt myself?" she mumbled into the floor.

Kit looked around at all the blank faces and curious eyes, so she turned the envelope and opened it, trying not to tear the seal too much, as the piece of mail isn't exactly her's and she thinks this is technically a federal offense. And then she thought of Nurrantiel in the backyard next to the freaky oak tree and she shrugged and ripped it open.
Out slipped two tickets. They fell to the floor, and Kit reached down to pick them off, in the process, losing one of her hobbit ears.
"Two tickets to... Puerto Rico," Kit observed, holding the tickets up. "Did anyone expect tickets to Puerto Rico perhaps?" She thought this was rather odd and her mind kept wandering to the envelope that was left in her room.

"Puerto Rico?" TT stared. "Wha?" That seemed so random. Her mind raced. Did these belong to the murderer? If so, why Puerto Rico? And why two tickets?

Susy felt like it took Kit forever to open the envelope. She restrained herself from pacing the floor back and forth. When the tickets fell out, she couldn't help but feel that the whole thing was a little anticlimactic.
"Maybe the murder is going to try to run!" Susy suggested.
