"I'm sure it will all be gone by the end of tonight," Cleallyra said, waiting for her soup to cool. "With all of these hobbits, I'm sure they're going to need to get more food."

The five hobbits had been munching on food for quite some time when Frodo peeped into the conversation.

"Wow.. it appears to be getting crowded here," Frodo mentioned to which Sam casually nodded his head to, "If we are going to go through with anything, random ears should not be listening."

Merry, Pippin, and Prisca agreed immediately. "Alright," Merry said, "Let's go to the Back yard. It's loud, so no one would be able to hear us anyone."

"Agreed," the other for said in turn. All five of them stood up and walked out towards the back. Pippin ran back quickly and grabbed another piece of cake. Jolting back to the group, he divided the cake among them as Merry continued leading the conversation.

"I think you're right. With tons of hobbits, no doubt all of this food will disappear some time or another," offered Marroc, now reaching for an apple.

"I wonder where everone is?" he questioned, not expecting an answer.

Ben took careful aim with his soup-soggy peice of bread, and threw it straight at Marroc, sending the bread, trailing soup droplets, speeding on a course to hit him between the eyes.

Cleallyra ducked, not wanting to get splattered by any soup and hid under the table.

It was very sudden and surprising that a drenched piece of bread hit Marroc right between the eyes. It was reflex to close them upon getting hit. His smile faded for a but a second, and after the bread slowly slid down the bridge of his nose, the smile sprang on again. The bread was suddenly wrenched from his face by Marroc's own soupy hand. He laughed once more and launched the bread back at Benjamin.

"Keep it this time." He muttered to himself, keeping the wide grin on his face.

Goldie ran up to the table just as Ben threw a piece of food a Marroc. A food fight, and Pippin not in sight! That had to be a first.

For now she fought the inclination to join in and ran towards the Party Tree to see if more people had arrived.

Will and Drew walked in and gave a wave towards the tables. "'Ello, everyone", they called. "You grab us a seat and I will grab us something to, Hunny. What would you like to eat?", Will said. "Um how about some...pie and icecream" Drew said with a very high level of excitement. Will looked at her like she was insane but nodded headed towards the table with the food on it. Drew went and took a seat by Gwearyan. At that moment somebody not name any names...cough Ben cough...through something across the tables. Good for her though it hit Marroc underhill. However some of the soup did fly off onto her face. Drew shook her head and wiped her face off with a napkin from the table...

Still breathing rather hard after that fast jig, Daerka made her way to a bowl of punch just as Marroc lobbed a piece of soppy bread at Benjamin. Dodging out of the way, she popped back up again and poured some of the red juice into a mug. Sipping quietly she made her way back to the party tree.

A brown-haired head popped out from under the table and Cleallyra looked up at Benjamin with a sly grin. All of a sudden a blueberry muffin was thrown at his head.

Ben did just enough to scamper away from the muffin thrown at him, but was unable to avoid the returning bread, which hit him in the ear, fillinging it with soup. Blowing a raspberry in the direction of the propellers of projectiles, he decided discrection was the better part of valour, and slid off away from the food tables.

Marroc laughed as he noticed a blueberry fly past his ear, and Ben retreating away from the tables. Cleallyra had just gotten out of hiding.

"You brought it upon your self," he commented at Ben, and laughed again. "What do you say we go to the party tree?

"Yes, let's get out of here before a real war has begun," Cleallyra smiled and looped an arm through Marroc's. The two began heading off, but not before the blueberry muffin hit Cleallyra in the back of the head...

Myrtle held up a glass of punch and studied it. "So, anyone put anything into the punch? At last year's Winter Ball someone had put something in the punch. I did not know what it was, but I sure got quite tipsy off of it."

Marroc was surprised once more. "You never know what goes on during hobbit parties, do you?" he mumbled, turning around. Nobody was in sight. It must have been ben.

He tried to urge Cleallyra on to walk fast, as he noticed Myrtle studying the punch bowl. "Let's hope there wasn't anything in it." He snickered.

Will sat down Drew's icecream and pie and then headed back to the food tables to get himself something to eat. He had just turned around when a piece of bread at him. Will pulled his sword out and sliced the bread in two. "Very impressive" Drew called to him with a smile. Will looked around and tehn put his sword back. "Now see here. Enough of that!" Will said. Drew laughed at the seriouness of her date. Will turned back around and headed back to the table carring a bowly of soup, buttered bread, and two cups of punch. He sat down next to Drew as she crawled out from under the table (from hiding from the food fight). Drew giggled at Myrtle Deepdelver's comment. "Oh yes I remember that" Drew said. She then looked at her own punch that Will had brought her..."Uh maybe I better pass on the pucnh" drew said warrily...
