Boromir sat in silence for a while. Itachi's behaviour was beginning to get irritating. Just what was he playing at, trying to freak Boromir out, or something? After a moment's thought Boromir casually removed a pack of cards from his pocket. He shuffled them.

"I'm not sure Boromir's comfortable around father," Goldleaf said before they reached the room. She followed Aranel in.

Itachi could sense Boromir's irritation and sighed. Ok, so maybe he was over doing it. His wife had warned him after all. He moved to stand across Boromir and put his hands in his pockets. Clearing his throat he said, "I guess it's no use making small talk here. I say we opt for something much more entertaining. After all, two lovely young ladies in a huge mansion...are sure to come upon something...frightning." He grinned.

Aranel grinned. "I think no one's really comfortable around him." She went and opened the french doors that led to a private balcony. The bedroom was lavishly furnished, in cool greens and gold and homely white. A grand bed was at the left of the room, and opposite was a door that lead to the bathroom. She turned back to her daughter and said, "Each room has it's own private bath and porch. It's one of those things I guess, the family basked in." She laughed and asked, "So how do you like it?"

Boromir looked up at his father in law and put the pack of cards back in his pocket. "What do you have in mind?" he asked with a grin.

Goldleaf gasped as she took in the design of the beautiful room. "Mother, it's lovely!" she said.

Itachi shrugged sheepishly and rubbed the back of his neck, "I don't know. I was hoping you'd have something in mind." Such uncharacteristic behaviour, his wife would be shocked!

Aranel smiled in relief. "Tell me about it! So maybe we should start packing your things in?"

Boromir rose from the couch and drew Itachi away from the other guests so as not to be overheard.
"I thought you were supposed to be a ninja?" Boromir said, raising his eyebrows.

"Certainly," Goldleaf said to Aranel, "I love this room."

After a moment, Nerissa stood up again and motioned to Walter. "It is growing rather awkward in here," she explained quietly. She stepped out of the room, and began looking around at the beautiful house. She looked first at the polished staircase.

Itachi fidgeted. "You're also forgetting. Aranel is the wife of a ninja. She'd be on the lookout for anything mischievous from me."

Aranel sat down on the bed and marvelled at the softness. "Feels good!" she said. Then standing up she looked at the bags they'd bought up. "Where do we start?"

"Right, we have to unpack the clothes," Goldleaf said, picking up one of the bags.

Itachi grinned and shrugged. "Whatever works. But let's say, the windows and doors would somehow magically slam shut and when they come out of the room, then we jump them."

Aranel hummed a tune as she put the folded clothes into the chest drawers. "What do you think we should have for dinner? It's just six of us for now."

"I'm not that fussed about food," Goldleaf said. "As long as it's warm. Chicken and veg maybe."

Itachi blinked. "I take that as a compliment then!" Laughing softly, he beckoned for Boromir to follow him and he headed in the direction his wife and daughter had taken.

"Sounds good, yup." Aranel nodded and surveyed the room again.
