FM finished up her cider, and set it down on the table, trying to think of something extremely intelligent to say, but not making much progress.

"Ermm... ever climbed a Christmas tree?"

tim looked at FM with a slightly deranged smile on his face.

"Climbed a christmas tree? No, I can't say I have."

Her eyes drifted over the the humongous AU tree, as she looked it up and down.

tim joined FM in ogling the tree. He chucked.

FM half-smiled in response, a bit evilly, and made her way to the ball room, where the huge tree was.

"I've uh... actually never climbed a tree before..."

Idril, with a sleepy Remus, popped in to shout, "MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE EVERYBODY!!!!!!" They had been out partying. Remus woke up enough to grab a plateful of brownies (for Santa, supposedly) and the two of them went off to await Christmas morning.

Feeling parched, Gwen decided to grab a sip of punch. Taking off her white gloves and laying them on the nearest chair so they wouldn't get stained, she served herself some of the sweet, red punch.
