Caderyn and the Nightingale came running into the midst of the snowball fight, the Nightingale tripping and falling as Caderyn chased her. He scooped up some snow and pelted the Nightingale with snowballs.

Nurr watched all the comings and goings while hiding up in a tree. "Ya know, this place is pretty comfortable," she remarked to Mat as she formed more snowballs. "And it has a great view." They grinned mischeviously at each other, then dropped snow on top of Caderyn while he was hitting Nightingale.

I had finally made my decision; I was joining. Why I didn't hop right in the moment I got here, I'm not sure why. Squatting down, I searched for the easy-to-pack kind of snow. I had just gotten a nice ski gloveful of the white powder when a firm, perfectly round snowball rolled to a stop at my feet. I slowly looked over to my right, where it had come from. My gaze ran up a pair of white legs and a bunch of thick fur until they stopped on the grinning (yes, grinning) face of a caribou. Peary Caribou, to be exact. For a few moments we both sat there, me staring like an idiot and it grinning like an idiot, until I noticed its eyes. The left was a blue-green color, the other, a dark purple. “I thought you were going to be a penguin for Christmas, Cricket,” I commented to her, finally quitting my gaping. She answered by shaking her head and quacking. "You could've just been a reindeer, you know," I said as I picked up the snowball and looked it over. The reply was a bark. "Well three-feet tall caribou aren't all that small and cute either," I told Cricket. "At least compared to most of the animals you usually be. Hey, why don’t you go make some more of these?” Cricket, looking very happy with herself for making such a perfect snowball with hooves, trotted off further into the cover of the trees. Moving behind a trunk that was more than big enough to hide me, I threw my white missle at random into the melee, where it was more than likely to find a target, and dropped quickly into the snow behind the tree trunk.

HF and Frodo were still behind the fort. They looked around to see where Kel was. HF jumped up and threw a snowball at Farn. "Take that!" She laughed.

Curiosity got the best of me, and I chanced a look at the fight. Big mistake. No sooner had my head popped into view over the tree roots than a snowball decided to land itself in my face. Wiping my eyes and spitting out the fluffy new contents of my mouth, I shouted back to my partner in crime. “We’ve been spotted, Cricket! Quick, got any ammunition ready?” There was a moo and a kicking noise from further in, and a small group of snowballs appeared beside me. “How the frog feathers does she do that?” I mumbled in disbelief. I had spotted a girl, with a hobbit that I couldn’t recognize at this distance (not to mention that I still had snow in my eyes), grinning at me and had decided she must be the culprit. Jumping up, I launched one of the balls at my attacker. “Merry Christmas!” I yelled jokingly as the projectile found its target.

Caderyn jumped with surprise, then whirled on Nurr and Mat and pelted them with snowballs. The Nightingale rolled over and stood up, brushing the snow off of her cloak. She, too, scooped up snow, packed it together, and threw one huge snowball at Nurr.

But The Nightingale soon realizes that it wasn't Nurr who got hit with her snowball, but Lady of Taniquetil! she falls in the snow and get's covered in the fluffy white stuff. "i haven't seen snow in a long time!!" and now she picks up a snowball and throws it at the nearest person.

Man at my house it is like 50 degrees! it's to warm and sunny! but it is perfect here at the ball!

Kelenloth walked out of the building, freash air was good and this was defanatly her favorite place on the grounds, she walked over to the old fire pit, burned out for the(what..8th time?) she went into the wood to get freash wood, finding some after a while she came and placed it in the small pit, throwning out the old wood she pulled a flint out of her poket, strukinging it with a small utility knife she set the pile ablaze, Elladan soon came striding up, rubbing his hands together for warmth until the fire grew "Is anyone still out here?" he asked, not seeing anyone, suddently he was hit in the back of the head with a fluffy snow ball.

"Who threw that?" Ell turned in wrage, kel looked on laphing, she picked up a small handful of snow and threw it at him just for fun, Ell turned to see her laphing face, he mock laphed, sending her into a giggling fit, he piked up a pile os snow and dummped it on her head before looking around again, he spotted Nightingale and LoT(is it ok if I call you that?) he snuk behinde Nighting gale with snow in his hands, as he was about to throw it at her kel called out a wrning, but it was to late, the snow found its target true

The Nightingale shivered as snow ran down her back. She turned and saw Ell standing behind her. The Nightingale packed some snow together and hurled it at her, then tripped. Caderyn bent to help her up, and he suggested they go in for a quick dance before they left the ball for the year.

Ell ducked behind a snow drift as the snow flew past him , but soon hurried to help Nightingale up, she stood before he got thare, and he watch the two go into the bulding together, he walked back to the fire "I gess it's just me and you now? Huh?"He looked around quikly, hoping not to be disproven with more snowballs thrown at him.

"Oh, so that's what I get for saving you," Nurr called to Nightingale jokingly. She shimmied down out of the tree and joined Kel. "We always seem to be the ones hitting each other, I guess we don't have lives outside of A-U at the same time," she remarked. She heard a snap, and whirled around just in time to see Mat lifting a snowball. "Don't you dare throw that!" she yelled, brandishing a finger at him. "I'm warning you!" Mat stood grinning, weighing his options, then threw the snowball at Nurr anyway.
