(Been really busy the past few days, I am sorry that I have been unable to post.)

Smeag ran up to the house and opened the door. Her shoes were killing her, but luckily she was able to find a pair, even though they were a size too short. Deciding not to become too scary this Halloween, her hair was tied up in a ribbon, and she was wearing the classic 50's poodle skirt around her waist.

The air, a little mucky, caused Smeag to cough a time or two, but she soon moved on and skipped into the room were all of the commotion was sounding.

"Hello everyone. Sorry I'm late," Smeag half-way yelled, and turned her toe on the floor in front of her.

"How did we all sleep?" Kit asked. "Well?

"Well, the Chef and the new Chef Assistant was good enough to make us some breakfast, chocolate chip pancakes, strawberry-topped pancakes, pecan-topped pancakes.... AND WAFFLES!"

Mrs. Haldir walked into the room. How did I sleep? she repeated Kit's question to herself. She wasn't really sure, although she didn't require much sleep, she felt as if she hadn't slept at all even though she did. She perked up hearing the word 'pancakes.' She blinked. "Oh, chocolate chip pancakes sound good," she said.

"Very good then. Come along, lots of food to consume, lots of memories to abandon." Kit ushered them into the Dining Room again. "Yusef has already moved Aelfthyth's -body- to the back room. Let's hope there's not another accident as I'm sure it was just an accident of course."

FF waved as Smeagollum entered and soon she was following Kitoky back to the dining room. Trying to ignore the ghosts prescence ( she was thinking of how odd it felt to try to ignore a ghost instead of a real person ) she began consuming lots and lots of chocolate.

--((Sorry it's taken me a while to come back...I've had class---and I may not be on very often tonight because I have a paper to write for tomorrow, but I'll try, 'cause this is SOOOO exciting!!))--

MB groaned as she woke up.....her face nearly landing in the plate that was once full of apple pie. She was a bit drowsy...but she figured that was the effects of...a certain drink she'd furisously drank the night before.

The night before.....Ohhh god she thought. Right then. I should probably make an appearance before someone thinks something's happened to me. She went to the windows and opened the giant curtains, and and was blinded by the light.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK! Liiiight....baaaaad," she groaned. She threw on some clothes, still going with the 20s theme. When she packed, she figured if she was going to dress one way, it should be like that the whole time. Besides, she loved dressing up.

She ran out of her room, barefoot down the stairs. She made it down to the dining room just in time to hear "WAFFLES!"

"OH my god! Waffles!" she exclaimed. But the moment she nearly walked into the ghost of Ælfthryth, all the happy feelings went away and were immediatley replaced by ... confusion and fear.

"Ummmmmmmmmm....." was all that she managed to get out. It was more of a reflex than anything.

Ali snorted through a mouthful of waffles, taking the opportunity to eat free food with immense acceptance. Her eyes on Montana and the ghost of Aelfthyth(finally being able to see it, as she was sitting on the edge of the table with her legs swinging) she swallowed her last bite and tilted her head.

"Who all doesn't know about the ghost yet? If there's anyone, they might want a bit of warning. As amusing as it is to watch people nearly walk through a dead person, the screams might start causing headaches."

"Oh bother, fine fine! Don't see why I have to do so much extra work because someone decides to go and die." Kit huffed and marched out to the main entrance with a board, paint and nails.

MB stuttered at the introduction. She couldn't make anything out....still a bit shocked that she was looking at a GHOST. A GHOST!!

She managed what she thought was a smile at Ælfthryth. She didn't want to seem rude, but she was still in shock that the young woman who had died the night before, was floating right in front of her.

She realized she needed to calm down and pull herself together. She found a seat, and poured herself a big glass of water. She needed something to calm her nerves. She eagerly grabbled some waffles and drowned them in butter and maple syrup. She decided it'd be better if she focused on eating than a ghost.

But she was startled and choked on a piece of waffle when all of a sudden Kit abruptly left the room in a huff. It seemed all she'd be able to get out as a response this morning was "Uhhhh...?

She giggled again, moving over to sit beside Montana, patting her on the back. "Dearie, it's only a ghost. Do you know how many dead people there are? Probably a lot more than live ones."

The topic wasn't exactly polite dinner conversation, but Ali took a handful of candycorn anyways and muched on it, blinking at Kit left the room. "I would have helped...It would be excellent opportunity to tell ghost stories."

Shadowcat helped herself to some waffles and pancakes. She was starting to feel a lot more awake, which was good. The ghost didn't leave, though, and at this point there was no doubt that this was actually happening. She watched Kit walk out of the room in a huff. This dead person stuff is affecting everyone, isn't it? she thought.
"Okayyyy..." she said, breaking the rather awkward silence.

Ali waved to JF with a broad grin, obviously unhindered by the presence of a translucent being. "All this is really very exciting. Well...for Haldir I'm sure it's a bit aggrivating, not being able to touch things, but I really do want to figure out who did it. The butler is an option, but if you all were in the dining hall, wouldn't he have been there?"

Musing over possible suspects, she chewed on another piece of candy. "How did she die anyways?"
