"Maybe they're 13 years old and live in room 13!" Alariya said hopefully as she handed Liesl a guitar which could be held and played by a ghost. :D

"I've got it! 13! There are 13 people on this trip! Our eleven guests, and two hosts!" Nurr beamed with excitement. "That must be the reason, right? Erm..." Her face began to fall as she started to second-guess herself.

"Well, anyway. We're not going to get anywhere if we just keep sitting and stirring over clues. Given all the things we know, we should just take a vote. We can do it silently, just write your names on this paper and we'll count."

She waited until all the slips of paper were back in the basket, then started to pull them out, announcing each as she went.

"And that makes another for Ea and Anne Boleyn," she said, dropping the last paper. "So. The votes are in."

"We accuse Ea and Anne together."

Well...

They had got the wrong person.

Or in this case persons.

She was rather lucky to have someone like Anne Boleyn on this trip, not to mention a train full of writers.

The rest came easier.

What with an ex-queen consort on board, everyone was sure to suspect her.

But unfortunately she had to be killed first. Anne’s curious revival had Taunaki thinking. The dead should not be revived. They were dead and they should STAY dead and that was that.

She simply just had to be first. Who knows how many secret royal bloodlines there could be! One of her ex-husband’s descendents might’ve found out about her recent revival and could’ve gone after her with a grudge.

Taunaki smiled as she exited the castle. So in a way, she was doing Anne a favor. That way, no one would kill her simply for not being able to bear sons. Hence ‘Confessions.’

Alariya…well she was an actress. The other option was to go for Clarissa but seeing as they were in the same ‘carriage’ on the train, killing Clarissa would’ve made it far too obvious. Of course, she could’ve killed Clarissa then commit suicide, but then what was the point? And considering Alariya loved listening to music so much, ‘The Hearing’ also seemed appropriate. Not to mention, it was a rather vague clue. Having books at both scenes of the crime could point to any of the writers on the trip, thus making it harder to pin the murderer.

Transylvania was a surprise…well, more of a shock really, but that wasn’t going to stop her.

Instead, she spent countless nights up, exploring the castle, careful to not let those who worked there find her.

So, Taunaki decided that Sparkle was next.

Not that she didn’t like Sparkle, or sparkles, it was just that she was a bit TOO sparkly…not to mention clingy.

She shivered at the thought, wondering how the Horseman managed being around her. But then again, he shared the same feelings for her.

Freezing her seemed appropriate. She did after all, disliked the cold and what better way to distract her than with a pile of sparkles!

Taunaki had also hoped that the Agatha Christie book would throw everyone off. Not that they weren’t sure who it was already, but having that there comforted her. After seeing several others with Agatha Christie books, she had managed to nick one from the library. It was easy, considering everyone was so frightened now of books, that no one bothered to go in.

Liesl…Taunaki didn’t know what compelled her to kill Liesl. She just happened to leave her apple core on the grand staircase. She was reading a book…and eating an apple. That was just about all she remembered and the next morning, Liesl was found dead.

They didn’t catch her.

She laughed as she continued on her path.
