The first thing Nia did while heading to the kitchen to get a knife was run into Karl's arms, sobbing.

"What's wrong dear?" he said, closing the book he was reading,"Leggy's not feeling well....and Anakin wants me to fetch a knife and I don't know what he's going to do...." He patted her, "I am sure that Anakin will not hurt his own father." Karl took her hand, "Come, let's go get that Knife."

Nia soon returned outside, clutching her husband's arm as he carried the knife through in a cloth. "Here ya go Anakin," he murmured, handing it to him.

Anakin gave a reassuring smile to Karl Nia as he took the knife from him. "Trust me," he said softly. He glanced at Legolas, and his face became stony again. He stared at the knife for a moment, a kitchen-style Pampered Chef affair, then without warning put the blade through the palm of his left hand.

Neri gave a quiet squeak, and clapped her hands over her mouth. Walter put his hand on her shoulder, looking somewhat concerned.

Lumy had remained silent through the time, mostly because of the shock what was happening to Leggy, but what was happening now was almost much worse to her. She had never been able to see blood or open wounds without getting sick. She shook her head, staring at Anakin and ran out of the room. "I'm sorry..." she whispered.

Anakin gritted his teeth and closed his eyes, ignoring the worried faces around him. With a quick tug he pulled the knife out, his blood welling from the wound. With his good hand he cradled his father's head, holding his bleeding hand over the Elf's mouth. Crimson droplets splattered the pale lips. "Come on Father," Anakin whispered.

Nia gasped and buried her face in Kar's arms as he watched Anakin curiously,murmuring, "My God..."

"Please Ada," Anakin murmured desperately. He had done this before but never for an Elf, and the shocked faces of those around him made him all the more self-conscious of how he could fail.
But this was not a day for failure. With a sudden jerk Legolas sat up, his eyes wide as he gulped air. Anakin smiled weakly in relief.

Enno wandered around, looking lost. Where is the rest of my family? She wondered to her self,getting more and more lost by the second. "Hello?" She risked shouting,hoping someone - hopefully from H~Line - would hear her.

Neri's breathing quickened, and tears of joy appeared in her eyes. She stepped outside the room with Walter for a moment to let the happy family celebrate Leggy's recovery. She suddenly heard noises, though, and a new voice... She rushed downstairs, and out the front door. "Enno!" she cried, squeezing her tightly.

Aranel and Itachi looked on in wonder at Vanakin and Legolas. They had no knowledge of that particular technique and wondered if it was indeed a skill of healing. "Whatever works," muttered Itachi and he clapped Vanakin on the back gently, expressing thanks.

Glancing towards Melda, Aranel replied with a soft smile, "We had a bit of trouble but it seems to be over now."
