"Hmmm..." Gil counted on her fingers; Mrs. G - 1, me - 2, Caunion - 3, Gwen - 4, and Este - 5. "Well, since there are 5 of us, we should have 4 chairs, unless more people are planning on joining..."

Gwenneth pulled up two chairs that were next to her and began forming a tiny circle.
"Well, not many of us, but it should work," she said. "Should I ask one of the musicians to play over here for our music?"

Seeing that Gwen was clearly busy, Nuilanwen turned to Shikamaru.

"Well Shika-kun what do you say we head to the Garden?" she asked Shikamaru. He nodded. Nuilanwen grabbed his arm and the two walked out to the garden.

The goup formed a circle around the chairs, waiting for the music to start. When it did, Gwen stepped in beat to it, slowing ever so slightly when she came to the next chair.

And suddenly, the music became silent. In a flurry or skirts and screams, everyone dove to the nearest chair, Gwen barely snatching one.

The music started up again and everyone started circling the chairs again, Este stayed as close as possible, waiting for the music to stop.

Again, the music stopped, and the remaining participants hastened to get a chair. However, this time Gil was the one left standing. She smiled however. "I have to leave now anyway," she said to the group. And then she and Sawyer departed for a family meal.

(my cousins and grandparents are over so I have to leave now, but I'll be back later, hopefully! )
