Boromir laughed. "Married life with Goldleaf isn't too much hard work," he said. "I just feel sorry for you marrying a high maintenence woman like Arwen. I mean she did used to be married to-OW!" His sentence was cut off when Goldleaf punched his arm.
"Come on, let's go get some drinks," she said, pulling him away.

Mel ran, nearly tripping over herself, into her mother.
"AAAH! Yes. Ahem. Nothing like an entrance!"
She sighed and brushed her short hair out of her eyes, and unconsiously smoothed down her emerald green dress. What? She had to make some kinda statement. And she wasn't one to be subtle about it, either. The brighter the better...
She hoped she hadn't missed it. Muttering under her breath about 'distractions' and inconsiderate and unavoidable events she searched for Tur. Giving up for a minute she hugged her parents, then picked up a glass of champagne.
"So, what did I miss?"
