Ea-I plan on it..but I may not be able to as much as I used to, since I have seventeen credits this quarter. And college..especially one like RIT.. takes up alot of my time. But I'll try to. And where I've been...well college took up most of my time again...as last quarter I had nineteen credits. I've been busy.

Im Mephiston, lord of death. I started off on this forum about 2 years ago as Eonwesbestmate. Ive gone from internet noob and now post with grammer. Throughout my time here on A-U Ive gone from;

The "real" Mephiston is an 18 year old guy from England, who is in his last year of A Levels, studying English Lit, Classics, Philosophy and History.He is currently applying for Uni's, and at the minute, should be working on his philsophy synoptic and his english coursework.

@ Anduril: ah yes, the forum crash affected us all. i remember the frustration of coming home every day and hoping the forum was up - aand the disappointment afterward. it felt like i was going through withdrawal. ><

@ Eä: that's good to hear, though i've always thought of most of the people on the forum as mature and friendly. i hope i do end up staying, though. i miss this place.

@ Nurrantiel: OMG! your sig! i love the hunt for red october! i didn't think anyone else on here had ever seen it.

@ Aramel: actually, i think we rped once or twice, maybe three times. either way, you're a great pirate rper. ^_^ i remember that much. oh nostalgia....good to see you again, though. =D

@ Isty: omg, kidnapping anneth? i'm SO down. she'll want to murder me, but i don't care, this will be TOO fun. =DD




now, in case anyone's interested, a little 5-minute biography on me.

i can't ice skate to save my life. i'm really eclectic in my interests, and have trained / had lessons in things as diverse as horseback riding, martial arts, dance, gymnastics, singing/choir, playing acoustic guitar, and swimming. yeah, i have ADD when it comes to life. xD ANYONE who knows me will tell you about my passion for music - it's my life, and i listen to a huge variety of genres.

since a-u i've been rping like crazy. first i ran a couple of private sites, then i joined a few bigger ones that really challenged my creativity. i've loved every minute of it, but still get nostalgic now and then. =) i'll always love a-u for being my second home.

Hello people!! Long time no see. It's countable in years.
I remember the first time I visited AU - the old proboards forum. It was such a long time ago, think I was 14. Took me awhile to actually press those couple buttons and register. That was one of the smartest things I ever did. My username used to be Eruanneth and since then it evolved into it's current form - Annerueth Adhara. Call me Anneth though, so much easier. RPing and posting around AU was very beginning of my (so-called) internet career. That place was indeed my second home, and after it moved here, this new and then strange looking board took it's place. The friendships that had been started then are something I treasure to this day. Isteleth (my own twinny), Aerwen, Pearl, Elen, Falath - they still count as members of my family. Not the RP one, but real family. Can't leave Eru out, she was after all my AU mommy =)

Now I'm 20... As my dear Monster (read: Aerwen) would say - you're dust =P I still live in the same place I did back then, a town in country called Croatia on the continent called Europe. Primary and High school years are now behind me and I'm college student who is (more or less) majoring in Math. I didn't become nurse after all lol. Am still very interested in graphics design and still trying to improve my English - as people say, now I sound portuguese and that's not exactly what I aimed for =P

In the end, I can honestly say that I missed all of you - even if you probably don't remember me anymore, and I'm glad to be here =) Just like Aer, I never forgot you and this place.

eä – the moors really are beautiful, especially at sunset, or when they’re covered in snow. i’m sorry the brontës have traumatised you. i couldn’t get on with jane eyre (i got about four chapters in and near died of boredom) but wuthering heights is one of my fvourite books. i agree that there’s not a lot that’s good in there, but sadly there is a lot that is true. i actually live about half a hour away from the parsonage where they brontë’s lived, so i really am in brontë country.
i did leave that job, but only because of moving house – we moved about 160 miles, so obviously i had to quit. unfortunately the job market’s not too bright over here, what with our economy falling down about our ears and businesses going bankrupt with alarming frequency, so getting a new job is proving rather tricky. hopefully something will turn up soon though.
thankyou very much for the warmth and love and warm loving care (which is, of course, reciprocated) and here’s to many more literary discussions!

eru and aramel (i hope you don’t mind the abbreviations) – thanks for the welcomes back. it’s been so lovely coming back and seeing so many familiar names. i was a little nervous that everyone i’d known would have left or changed their names, but as always my fears were unfounded. i look forward to seeing you around again and hopefully chatting a bit more.

Well.. now that I have more time I'll do the "official" thing and introduce myself to most of you who won't know me from long ago.


I've been on the forum since November of 2005 but have had several long absences and, honestly, am more active now than i have ever been.

*looks around at other peoples name list*

lol Mephiston, lord of death you got a long list of names!

I myself have had 1 name and one only... Well ok I changed it once for 1 day. (don't even remember what I changed it to)

But for all intensive purposes I have always been Jax Nova. that's what everyone online calls me anyway.

In reality I am 19 going on 20 (have to add that in there ) and live on a cattle farm hleping my dad with it while also doing my own farming and raising goats. I also have several other small non-consistent jobs to earn money like cleaning houses working at auctions and landscaping...

I love music (Music Rocks if you pardone the pun) and have been taking guitar lessons for nearly ... 3 years (wow didn't realize it had been that long)

Love playing guitar and singing and am in a singing grup with my dad, sister, adn younger brother.

I also love to write... though I have not had much time to do much writing lately because I have been stinking busy! lol (but in a good way)
i actually have a poetry book published but it aint anything big.


Well.. thats enough i think!

Anyone who actually read that whole things gets a mint chocolate! (I wouldn't even read that much about myself)






On a happier note, it's good to see some old faces around the forum.




EDIT: I may be 19 going on 20 but don't mistake me for a grown-up. People in the misc. Randomness thread can testify to the fact that I don't act very grown up...

My moto is I can't stop from growing old but I never have to grow up!

After all kids have all the fun and grown-ups are often grochy and busy and never have time for fun.... why would I wanna grow up. haha

Ok I'm done with my little diatribe (sp?) just had to add that in there in my hyperness.
