That would certainly fit. Good thinking, Tar. But, like JF said, I'm still hoping that the killer is amongst us.

I have to agree with you Tar, I would be quite annoyed as well.
Yeppers, I'd be glad to hear it.

Okay, so we were torn between whether the map had anything to with Pirates, or if just was someone who liked history. PD fits both of those things.
These are the things she listed.
Favorites: Lord Beckett, Charlie Pace, LOST, Pirates, Narnia, LotR, Edmund Pevensie, my good family and friends...
Dislikes: heights, tiny spaces, Twilight, Torchwood, anything Golden Compass related
Other: I like ice cream too... ummm, and almost anything that has to do with the 1700's. I like seeing historic places and wondering about the people who lived there first and what their lives were like compared to mine...
In conclusion. She's a PotC fanatic, hates Twilight, and likes history. Plus, I don't know, maps, the Golden Compass. That particular one is a stretch, but most of the rest of it isn't.

True, true... I'm on GMT + 2 hours (according to my forum settings) so it's really late for me too, but I don't know how much can be done about it. After all we are a minority group of the Hallowfest guests. I mean Kit could set the voting time earlier, but then people wouldn't have time to discuss and agree on a killer because most participants are on US time zones. I don't think it's too much of a problem in the beginning because we have so few clues so this becomes sort of free guesses, but for the later rounds.. perhaps we should have an extended time period to discuss the killer.
No ... wait... I have a better idea, we could rotate the Earth and keep it fixed, sorta stopping the time in Europe and wait for the US people to catch up with us, and then we release Time and we'd all be on the same time zone! Voila! *nods*

That would be a great idea Eä!
Alas, I think I'm on GMT +2 too.. that's makes it 12.26 at your place also Eä? No I don't think anything can be done about.. it's just bad luck

It makes me sad though, that the Brits and Europeans can't be there... they're a pretty awesome group of people. If only time could be rearranged!
(*wonders if Tar knows a Dr. Who quote along these lines*)
Anyway... we have one person off the list. When is the second guess due to take place?

Well, off the top of my head, I can't think of a Doctor Who quote, but it's like, 6:50 in the morning. When I come back, I'll have one.

Awww, poor JF. I could sub for you and write the summary for you, if you want - being sick is awful, and trying to think while being sick is even worse.

I'm on it Ea!! [goes to her phone booth]
Anyways.
An extend voting time is a good idea. Mind you, you generally have ALL day on voting days to discuss and vote. But you guys can easily start discussing the day before. I won't specifically be posting the details of the vote until the day of voting, but by now I think you guys should know how it goes.
Now. I have to come up with more in-roleplay challenges to exempt new people this round to be out of the voting.

The problem with setting the voting/accusation for an earlier time is that I have to be on. And if it's on a school night, there's no way I can be online at like... 9-10 pm British/European time, because I have work and school obviously. And I don't want to put someone else in my stead because... that'll just throw off all sorts of suspicions.
The next accusation is on.... the 25th? Which is... Saturday? So Friday evening thru Saturday there will be discussion and since it's the weekend I think lots of people will be able to get on more. And I'll certainly be more available.

I know that was a joke, but I really didn't appreciate that whole bit. Elegost wrote: I'm not saying it has to be 9-10pm GMT.
Even 11-12pm would be so much better.
11 - 12pm? As in... what? 11 am - 12 pm European time? Which means it'd be... 7 am, US Eastern?
Yeah. That's not going to happen.
When it's a school night, I will try my best to be on .... 10 pm GMT. That way it's about 6 pm US Eastern and I can rush home from work. I mean, most days I have class from 7 am 'til 1 pm. Then I go to work until 6 pm.
There's also something called homework which all in all, takes up the majority of my evening. I'm not saying your guys' schedules aren't important and I know lots of people would love to participate and would love to be involved in every detail of the Hallowfest, but let's be honest. It's not going to happen unless we literally take 2 weeks off from our lives to get on.
So how does that sound? 10 pm GMT, would mean about 11 pm - 12 am (MIDNIGHT) for British/European (GMT + 1 for JF and such, and GMT + 2 for Ea) which I'm assuming is what you meant, Elegost.
10 pm GMT would mean 6 pm for me and about 3 pm for Tar-Samara those on the pacific coast (sorry, you're out of luck).
I seriously wish I could into a phone booth but I can't do anything about it.
I'm not stressing out, honest.

Take it easy Kit
There's no way we could do this without you so if you can't get on earlier, than it's just too bad for us.
I think there's no way to satisfy everyone. So finding out the result sof the vote in the morning is good enough for me

[shrug] According to the settings and such she's GMT + 1. Don't ask me. I don't mechanically compute numbers.
