I noticed that. *pats* And it makes it hard to talk to people when they do that, because you just want to skim. *admires shiny stars*
And Clue is the single best movie ever. Everyone should watch it at least once in their life. *may or may not have seen it twice already this month... *

Well I guess I'll throw in my vote too!
Well I was first going to agree with JF and say "Arsenic & Old Lace" because Cary Grant is a comic genius and I actually watch the movie as a Halloween tradition. XD
But "Clue" is a great one too. Especially since we ARE doing a murder mystery.
So I say both of those.

Yes, people. Instead of being the appeasing JF who tries to make others feel better at the Hallowfest, you're going to get sulky JF.
I'm just not enjoying myself at times because of all the very large posts. As Nurr said, it makes it hard to interact with people as you just can't read them all. I'd rather see 1000 smaller posts than 10 huge ones. It's making it so hard to get the gist of people's characters, who likes what, who has said that, and as someone who is determined to find some clues this year, it is nearly impossible with everything I have to wade through.
That's why I'm making my summaries more detailed this year, as I think people are not reading the larger posts properly.
There is no way it should take me over an hour to read through and summarize 5 pages. It didn't take me that long last year to do 12 pages a day.
I know this all sounds petty and mean, but from the perspective of keeping the Hallowfest flowing smoothly, I think if maybe people could try not to have too many long and descriptive posts, it might enable other people to repond more and everything should be Ok.

If you want JF to post summaries of the Hallowfest, make shorter posts. We're not trying to all co-write a novel here, it's just a roleplay game. So take pity on JF's valuable time, unless you would like to offer taking up a few pages to write notes on them as scrutinizingly as JF.

I'm sorry, I'll try to cut down on the length of my posts...I just get so caught up in the show-don't-tell style of writing, and most RPs elsewhere encourage hugeamonstrous posts, so sometimes I forget that I should probably tone it down for the Hallowfest. v.v
If you need help, though, I'd be glad to give it...

I think shorter posts would be appreciated by a lot of us...
I've been out for over 24 hours, because I spent all day out of town to go to a Relient K concert, and now I'm trying to figure out how to get back in. I have all day to try to catch up, which I may need.

Yeah, the Hallowfest is a different sort of RP. It's more focused on dialogue and interaction between people, and not so much on description. Two paragraphs is really an appropriate length.

I want to throw it out there that the first guess is scheduled for today, but obviously, we've only had one murder.

I'm going to go ahead and guess Eä, because magic tricks are always suspicious.

Yikes. Erm. Ok. I've almost finished the summary for yesterday and also the parts for today that include things that people need to know, so if you don't want to read through all the last pages, then you might want to hold off guessing until I get the summary out. It shouldn't be too long now before I have them ready.

I'll try and post short. I just don't like having the old one-line sentences. Though since I'm a tagger as well, it shouldn't be too hard. And I guess they are pretty short already.
Thanks ever so much for the summaries though, JF. I can't express how helpful they'll be...

I'm also trying to tone down on post length...v.v
JF, you are much awesomes for doing the summaries each year...you should get a reward or something.
And yikes, some of my own posts look incriminating. O.o *hides*
