Ariadne smiled at legolin. "Boring? Really, I'm sure it wasn't nearly as dull as that... and you can always find something of interest in anything you do, if only you know where to look."
"Hello, Alatáriël and Lithi," she added, waving to them as she passed. "Glad to see you all made it."
Ariadne glanced up at the sky, noticing the change in light. "Time is making fools of us yet again," she remarked. "Looks like it's approaching sunset. Now, why don't we have some entertainment before Sherlock gets the fireworks set up? Does anyone have a special talent they'd like to share?"

Aralas peeked out from behind a tree and was surprised to see arrows fly by, one almost hitting her. "Woah! What's all the fuss here?" she yelled. A box of cookies fell down from the tree but she saw it coming and caught it. "Hi everyone. I'm kind of unfamiliar with the family but I'm Alatariel's goddaughter. What's everyone doing and why was I the target? I don't see how you wouldn't have spotted me because although I don't really see an elf here, I'm sure dwarves have pretty good eyesight too."
