because it does not have the capacity to think... all it knows how to do is tick, which annoys the mice who run up it so it cant move...

Because one day while swimming a young cat sat on them forcing them to change colors from there usual green. Causing them all to taste good and putting a massive existence failure on the color green which ended up turning trees green.
Why am I being so random?

Randomness comes from the greek word Ran-dom meaning the need for something a little different. Of course people that have the syndrom of randomness tend to be happy little gnomes in the far eastern countries like south dakota (well to me east  ) Or that has just been my experience with ran-dom people  Of course I do suffer from randomness quite a bit.
How come when I blow bubbles they only seem to come in one size?

Because blowing bubbles exerts a strange force that makes you want to blow more, but it also limits the size of the bubbles you can blow.
Why is this smiley so mad?

Because when God was naming it, he was drinking a soda and had just finished it. He likes ice so he chewed on the ice and said mmmmm! Ice! ha ha

because no one would buy shoes without them, they needed the lace to feel complete.

The little flying hampsters run on their wheels because the giant emus are chasing them on treadmills, and everyone knows emus are natural predators of flying hampsters, despite their own flightlessness. The running of the flying hampsters then propels a giant coke-powered engine located at the core of the earth, which doubles as a slurpee machine for the flying monkeys (close relatives of the flying hampsters). DUH! 
Why do two words that sound the same have different meanings?

Because they have too many words in their heads to get them all out with their mouths, creating the necessity to creatively gesticulate while talking and add helpful hand motions when driving in traffic.
Why do four-year-olds have so much energy? (I'm working at a day camp this week and I have 11 of them)

because all their energy is stored up in their little bodies and if they dont get all the energy out, they will explode!
