Oh gosh, I don't know all that much. I just like to analyze the meaning of it. Slow isn't always bad. You can retain more and get more out of the book that way.

lol well, *shrugs* who knows. But yeah, I get that. I get the feeling from talking to people that Tolkien put a lot of "hidden" meaning behind the words in his book.
Perhaps... but it's got so much info in it I think I will have to read through it a couple times to get it all straightened out in my head. lol

Tolkien really did put a lot of significance and hidden meaning behind even some of the seemingly small things in his books, I think.
Hehe! It's easy for things to get all tangled up in my head, I know.

If you read even the first few pages of the silmarilion it's quite evident with the fall of Melkor and the creation etc... how it represents something deeper than just good VS. evil.
There is a spiritual mater burried in the meaning the way I read it, which is nice to read because that is what I try to do in my stories so it gives me ideas.
