Luthien let a slow smile draw itself over her face. "I must confess," she said softly, "I have always wished for a daughter. Perhaps...perhaps you could consider my husband and I adopting you? I know that he would just adore you."

Eyalan felt overwhelmed once more, but this time it was something totally unexpected. She glanced around the kitchen quickly. "you mean, this will be my home?" Eyalan had a hard time not to yell it out from enthousiasm and held her breath instead.

"Of course! We have a beautiful little spare bedroom you can have right away! Do you really think this is what you want?" Luthien leaned forward, her eyes shining.

"What I want?" She jumped up and flung her armes around Luthien. "I would love to have a family!" She stood back and what she saw was exactly how she ever imagined it would be.

Luthien was overjoyed at her reaction and hugged Eyalan tightly. "Oh, I am so happy! Just wait until your father hears about this! Tomorrow, we'll go and sort out the paperwork, and it will be official!"

"My father..." Eyalan hesitated for a moment. "what's he like?"

"Well, he's very kind, with an excellent sense of humour. He's on the Welcoming Team too, just like me. You will like him, I just know it." Luthien happened to glance out the window and saw a familiar figure riding past. "Just a moment, darling."

She dashed outside and spoke to the rider for a minute, before returning to the warmth of the house. "That was Ringo*Star, my brother. I sent him to your boss, with a message that you are no longer working for him. My daughter has no need for that anymore."

Eyalan smiled broadly "Just a minute!" She dashed outside too with her bag and a few seconds later she came back in without it. "That's settled then! My uncle seemed very easy going I guess!"

Luthien laughed at the comment, "Indeed! Well, let me show you your room, because by my clock, it is far too late for anyone to be out of bed."

Eyalan looked around her room. The flowers on the curtains and the fresh sheets on her bed made her feel right at home. And the room wasn't that small at all. "I'm not used to such a big room just for myself.' she said and yawned. Now she suddenly felt how tired she was. "I guess I beter get some sleep then, thanks for everything!"

Haldir came riding in on Asfaloth. "Welcome, Eyalan!"

Gwenneth returned to the room, seeing her daughter and Eyalan sitting on the couch. After the two of them had explained what had just happened, Gwen gasped.
"I have a new granddaughter?" She asked excitedly. "This will be Luthien and FaZ's first daughter!" She embraced Eyalan tightly. "Oh yes, you will love your father, he's really become more like a son to me. Is there anything you want to eat? A glass of milk, a cookie, a sandwich? Oh, try one of Eru's famous cinamon rolls!"
Gwen went on and on like this, taking on the role of mother/grandmother all over again. She wanted her new granddaughter to feel at home, and she had taken a great liking to her.

"Oh," she paused and turned. "I saw Ringo on my way here..." she smiled slightly, bending her eyebrows. "Does this make him my son?"

FaZ entered the room (or something, i don;t know where we are ). He saw Eyalan, sitting near the window.
"Eyalan. It's you? Luthien've just told me about your dialogue. It's wonderful to have such a beutiful and smart girl as a daughter. Welcome to the family!"

(By the way, when is Curunir's, Jax's, Evenstar's and Anduril's wedding? )

Gwenneth greeted FaZ and said, "All I know is that it's sometime today...but it seems many people are saying they might not be able to make it. Hopefully, they say, they will be able to come to the reception."
