Ah, so it's like a hidden sub site. Cool.

There must have been several of these realms in earlier days. There may have even still been a couple of them besides Vairë (of which E~S and some other usernames that may be familiar to you are members) semi-active when I joined CoE in late 2013. One realm whose name I still remember was Realm of Ulmo; the realms had in common that they were all named for one of the Valar or Valier (memory fails as to whether that included Melkor / Morgoth). And you could only be a member of one of the realms at any given time (and had to wait perhaps three months before switching to a different realm?)

There was no Realm of Melkor, although the idea was thrown around a few times.

Took my sweetheart out to a cake shop for her birthday. We had ice cream cones.

Nighttime temperatures have been below freezing for a few days – a rare occurrence in our winter to date (I’m not complaining …)

Oscar and I went for a longer walk today as the temperatures were actually tolerable, unlike the past couple of days.

When we left our apartment there was practically no wind to be felt. That changed in some of the places we went shopping, which made me occasionally wish I had taken the slightly warmer, longer jacket-cum-short-coat. :hammer:

Been rooting for both Team USA and Team Canada in the Olympic games.

I confess that I have serious issues with both Olympic events, since as far as I can tell the IOC has become one of the most corrupt organizations in the world due to having so many member countries in which corruption is a normal way of life. Or, as many district attorneys in many countries investigating this cesspit put it, a form of highly parasitic organized crime.

Well, the red, sore eye I think has turned into an infection. Great, just what I need.

Distributed the fair amount of birdseed we still had to the (leafless) bushes below our balcony last evening.

I still have Canadian money from my trip five and half years ago that I have yet to change back to US money.

I have some Canadian and Euro coins, and some New Zealand coins and bills from 8 years ago when I was there last. Didn't come back with any U.S. cash my last trip over.

My new mattress and pillow were delivered yesterday (I’m guessing they put their prospective delivery dates back far enough to be on the safe side), and last night’s sleep does look like an improvement. The mattress is a good deal thicker, and the (special) pillow is nice and firm.
