four men walking to church... four men run to get wet... one doesn't run and doesn't get wet... is the one who doesn't get wet the pastor/priest and so he't not running or getting wet because he's already at the church?

Ahhh! *clubs herself on the head* I just realized I wrote the riddle down wrong. Ok, ignore that last one (neither of the answers are right, so far) and I'll write it down... right! lol
Five men are on their way to church when it starts to rain. Four men run and get wet. One man doesn't run and stays dry. Why?
They are all outside when it starts to rain, and none of them have an umbrella.

Could it be........ that they all start out from point A on their way to church, four are running and one is walking. When the storm comes, it is farther up ahead so the ones that were running get wet while the guy that walked is behind the storm and stayed dry........?

Haha, Nurr already said it, in small letters.
Do we want to wait for someone else to figure it out, or do we want to post another riddle?

I have a guess, and I swear on the Lord of the Rings trilogy that I didn't look at Nur's small print
The fifth man was in a coffin, being carried by four men who were on there way to the church for his funeral.

I got the next one, I'm going to try my hand at making my own riddle...here it goes.
(I'll try not to make it too hard)
I come in many sizes and colors,
I hide many lost treasures,
I've met many people but have seen no faces,
I have four feet but wear no shoes,
I have been many places, yet always stand resolute.
What am I?

Haha, the only thing I can think of for that riddle is a couch, but that doesn't fit the last clue.

My first thought was a table, but that doesn't work.
My second thought was a trunk.
And I haven't come up with anything else yet.

I'm thinking couch... they come in many shapes and sizes, and how knows what gets lost under the cushions. The couch is always sat upon, so never sees faces... four feet no shoes... and it is moved like when you rearange a room or move from one house to another, but stands resolute because it stands stuborn unwilling to move on it's own...

Oh man the first riddle was great! Couldn't have guessed the answer though.. I'm really bad at solving riddles
But when you finished Val's riddle you may try this one. It's really a good one but that's what I think
Imagine: you're travelling to a certain village but before the village is a crossing. You have the choice to turn left or right but you don't know what it the right way. At the crossing there are standing two men: one is always telling the truth and one always lies. You don't know which of the two is the liar. You may ask one of the men, one question.
What do you ask?
