She pulled her husband forward and he smiled slightly from behind his mask. "Hello, I am..." Leila nudged him and raised her eyebrows. "Leila's husband." He finished with a smirk, changing what he was going to say mid-sentence. Leila laughed and looked at Raina. "I'm great! Enjoying the ball so much. How about you?"

Raina shifted uncomfortably as her hubby kissed her on the head before murmuring something about punch.

"I'm enjoying it!!" she said with a grin, "I'm fine...just fine"

"I am Morning Glory. Like that of the flower that only shows it's glory to the wonderouse morning. And my husband, who has wandered off someplace around here, is the Joker," Glory replied to her, her hazel eyes scanning the room for her husband, and finding him over by the turkish delights in the corner.

(Erm.... Morning Glory shall 'disapear' for awhile. I am going to watch a movie.)

It seems that she had dozed off, and meanwhile about a million people had arrived and a thousand things had happened. She stood up with a yawn and began walking around, hoping to start some conversations and hopefully some dancing!

"Good!" Leila smiled widely at Raina. "Although you do seem a bit nervous. I'd recommend a glass of wine, it's seemed to have calmed my nerves." She winked, finishing her glass and handing it to her husband who was smoothing down his suit looking uncomfortable. "You couldn't possible bring some glasses over could you darling?" Leila asked fluttering her eyelashes. Her husband laughed and took her glass, kissing the back of her hand softly as he did.
"Of course my dear." Leila laughed and turned back to Raina.

"Oh, I would not be surprised if there was something we all missed," Oreleth laughed. "With such beaufty decorated all around us, it's easy to become distracted I think."
Celephinnon leaned over and whispered. "Some are more easily distracted than others."

Prince Charming, Esquire was late. Again. The dance floor was already well populated, and the party well under way.

"It would be just my luck for the damsel in distress to be thoroughly rescued by the time I make it to Stage Right. Let alone Enter."

He was dress in the usual silver a gold finery; one of the downsides always being an identifiable character. He surveyed the floor and the company, searching for the one he sought. His eyes lighted when he saw her (though it is true she was well disguised in a voluminous red dress, with a feather by each eye), apparently still in distress, judging by the fact that she was alone and partnerless.

With valiant determination, he forged into the throng, wending his way dexterously between dancers and bystanders alike. Upon reaching his objective he didn't pause to doubt or reconsider, but took her hand firmly in his and swirled her into the steps of the dance.

All in all, quite pleased with the rescue.

The couple was late. It had taken a long while to find suitable masks and costumes. Finally they had settled on two jester costumes - the woman's equipped with bangles and a multi-colored skirt and the man a two tone doublet with the same pattern tights. They made quite a pair with the large venetian styled masks fitted with feathers.

"Look," the woman said pleased, nearly dancing about the bangles about her ankles and arms jingling happily to the beat of her step. This was more her element.

"Ah, this is interesting," the man replied attempting to put his hands in his pockets only to be met with nothing. He sighed, the next costume would have pockets.
