"You really do look smashing!" Maeve cried as she appeared around the corner. She smiled at the Horseman kindly and then peered into a few of the boxes bemusedly. She picked up a few artciles of clothing here and there, but eventually put them back in their proper place. She smoothed down the front of her black gown thoughtfully "You know, I really don't know what I ought to be," she said.

"Aha!" he said as he pulled a sheet of an old antique mirror. He stood there positioning the sobrero as best he could. "Not too bad" he said with a smile-that-was-there-but-no-one-could-see-it. He looked in the wardrobe and at the back ghe found a sword. "Very nice" he said as he fastened it to his waist.

Susy laughed as she saw The Horseman admiring himself in the mirror. "I thought you didn't do this whole "trick-or-treat" thing?" Susy asked The Horseman. "For someone who hates it, you seem to be enjoying yourself."

The Horseman awoke in the attic.
He had spent so long up there that he had fallen asleep in a corner. He groaned as he sat up and stretched his arms above his head. Gingerly, he stood and cried "I'm blind!" as he stumbled over a box. "I cannot see the world is dark! Oh, woe is me, headless and blind" as he ran into the wrdrobe and dislodged the sombrero he had been wearing the night before.
"Oh, that's better" he said, as he picked up the hat, dusted it off and walked downstairs to see what was for breakfast.

There was a distant rumble, like thunder.
Then there was a louder rumble, liked the house falling down.
It wasn't, but there was a certain illusionist who crashed through the door and into the opposite wall of the attic. The flustered face of Dana appeared over boxed, crates and piles of Hallowe'en costumes, dusting herself off and looking more than a little sheepish.
“Uh, morning?” she mumbled

It was now early afternoon, both Morfinneth and Celephinnon were down in the dining room, helping themselves to a light lunch. They were dressed in their Halloween costumes, deciding to go as Robin Hood and Maid Marian. Earlier that morning, Celephinnon's brother brought their son, Celephindir to the mansion, who was dressed as a young Gladiator. He stood by his parents, nibbling on a few pieces of a sliced apple, occasionally jumping up and down with excitement. His father placed a hand on his shoulder, telling him to stop jumping while trying to eat, warming him that he could choke.

Kit came down to the kitchens in an attempt to find her servants and to ask them if they've set out the barrels of candy to find that the barrels were all in the kitchen instead of their respective rooms.
She placed her hands on her hips, "Well, this won't do at all! How am I going to get all these barrels to all the rooms?" As you could see, she had a dilemma as the barrels were large and full of candy and she was ... well... *ahem*.
Kit crossed the kitchen to the barrels in an attempt to move one of them when the lid fell off to reveal <b>Kitty Siggerston</b>, dead among the chocolate bars and wrapped candy.
"Gasp!" gasped Kit! And then she began to shout.

Having been away for... a while... PD wandered around the mansion, seeing if she could find what the others were up to. (she would have been saddened to know that she sorta missed the costume picking ect since she desperately loved costumes...) She was feeling slightly hungry so she headed towards the kitchen. It was then that she heard Kit's cry. "Oh noo!" she moaned and scurried over. "Nooo," was all she could say as she beheld Kitty's limp body.

Dana tripped over herself several times trying to get down the stairs, thoroughly tangled up in her giant bat costume. Wings did not make for elegance and grace, period.
Kit's shouting had aroused her curiosity, she figured the first trick or treaters - not her, probably to Eä's relief - had arrived. She had far too much fun scaring small children with her mild insanity.
When she arrived, almost in a heap, at the foot of the stairs, Dana jumped through to the kitchen, intending to pick something small and munchable up as she went, before she found Kit stood screaming over the body of Kitty Siggerston.
“Uh-oh, not again...” she trailed off, disturbed.

Since she was practically living in the kitchen, Eä figured she might as well spend the nights there as well. Then she was closer to a midnight or early morning... and second early morning snack, just before breakfast!
Like many of the other guests Eä was wearing her Halloween costume: Tight Urban Outfitters jeans and a dusty pink Roxy T-shirt. She was feeling rather laidback and threw her legs casually on the table, tilting slightly on her chair.
"Yo Morfinneth, Celephinnon! S'up?"
Eä threw a couple of appropriate handsigns concluding in a move that resembled 'throw fireballs across the room'.
"Yo Kit".
Eä grinned wide, munching on pancakes with syrup and blueberry jam... at least until Kit started screaming.
Eä fell out of her chair in shock and hurredly picked herself up to run up behind Kit where Eä easily were able to peer over her shoulder seeing as their dear hostess was so.. well...
"Like Oh my gosh, eww... that's like sooo totally gross... I mean look at her.. it's like... can you believe it??"
[EDIT: Seriously, stop doing that, stop messing with my mind! I swear I saw someone posting after me just now... but now it's gone!!]
