The Horseman had just settled himself down to the pile of food he had on his plate, when he heard Kit shouting. He promptly dropped his fork, and ran towards to sound of her voice. Being so tall, he made it to the kitchen in seconds, and there he found Kit standing over a barrel of sweets, which also contained an odd sweet known as Kitty.
"Mon dieu" he said quietly.

Eä cried out with as much disgust as she could possibly fit into her shrieky teenage-angsty voice, that unfortunately came with her trick or treat-costume.
"Take it away, take it away... this is like soo grossing me out, I can't believe someone would put herself in a barrel like that, seriously, ewww... think about our appetites.... like hellooo!"
She flailed her arms, her body reacting as if it wanted to be a thousand miles away from the sight, though her curious Eä-brain wanted to stay to watch in calm observation. She turned a few times and somehow ended in the arms of The Headless Horseman.

Kit pointed as everyone started to gather around. "She's dead!" She cried, as if it wasn't very obvious.
She squeezed between the barrels, because she was rather *ahem* and can actually do that.
"There's a half eaten candy bar here!" She exclaimed, and she daren't touch it.

Holly, who had packed costumes for herself and her husband, arrived downstairs dragging Artemis behind her. He was whining and putting up a struggle. "NO! I look dumb, I look horrible, no one should see me like this!"
The elf, dressed in a blond wig, blue dress, white apron, white knee socks, black headbow, and black shoes, dropped her husband to the floor and crossed her arms in exasperation. "Honestly, Artemis Fowl, you are acting like a spoiled five-year-old! It's just for a little while!"
The boy genius, in a green and orange suit, white wig, and oversized hat, stood up and straightened his clothing as best he could. "I still look stupid. But," he smiled his rare, vampiric smile, "I'll do it for you dear." With that he picked his squealing wife up and carried her into the kitchen, where he dropped her at the sight of Kitty's body. Holly groaned, "Not another one!"

"Oomph" said The Horseman as he was suddenly aware of a weight in his arms that had not been there ten seconds previously. "Steady as she goes" he said, as he lifted Ea up and placed her back on her own two feet, before hastily looking around to see if Sparkle was present, which luckily she wasn't.
"Poisoned chocolate we think eh?" he said. "That is not cricket" he added.

Fragile was just returning from a day and a night spent wandering in the woods, writing songs. She'd felt rather out of touch with her music for the past few days, and needed a chance to clear her head anyway.
She happened to return just in time to hear Kit's loud exclamation. The elf joined the crowd in the kitchen, looking on in alarm.
"Ummm... does this mean we should avoid passing out candy to any unsuspecting children?"

Glancing around, Eä couldn't help but being a bit disappointed that Sparkle * wasn't around, but she wasn't the one to showing signs of such triviality.

(O.o I feel sorry for Artemis...)
Deria was interrupted halfway through this day's apple by the screaming of the hostess. Uh oh...I have a bad feeling about this... she thought as she hurried downstairs. Sure enough, there was another body. In a barrel of candy? With a half-eaten candy bar? She sat down hard on a barrel, which promptly broke and tipped her in. Just my luck... she thought as she clambered out. She looked rather ridiculous, as she had found a light-blue-and-silver-and-cream-and-white ballet costume somewhere, produced a pair of tights, and put on her Freed pointe shoes. Not to mention there was a feathery white-silver-hairpiece-thing around her bun. She hadn't looked like this in about 8 years, but hey, she'd always wanted to be Snow in the Nutcracker.
She moved around to the others, making sure they gave her a wide berth (tutus are rather space-taking, ya know), to have a look at the body. Not that she particulary enjoyed it. "Is the candy poisoned or was she allergic to something in it or did she just eat too much and burst?" she wondered out loud.

She crossed her arms across her chest and rolled her eyes.

Deria grinned. "Chocolate, maybe. I prefer Swiss, to be honest. Though I don't see what you have against Hershey's--it may not be the best quality but it's cheap, readily available, and variable...I guess it's the old British pride, eh?"

"Personally, I don't find dark chocolate all that appealing, but to my own of course," Kit said, adding her twopence into the matter whilst they were at it. Not minding that there's a body of a sweet young girl named Kitty in a barrel of chocolates, whose name was quite similar to Kit's own, except Kitty's referred to a kitten and Kit's was to a box with stuff inside of it.
