Taur sat straight up in her seat, frozen with shock. It took all her strength and courage to cautiously peek into the entrance hall, and see the sprawled out body of Ælfthryth there. Her mouth fell open. She grasped the edge of the doorway until her knuckles were white.

Just then JF heard a scream, and looking round she looked for the source of the sound.

At Kit's reply, MB giggled with excitment. But that excitment was cut short with a piercing cry that rang throughout the house and had made Kit bolt to find out what on Earth was going on.
She jumped up, frozen with fear at the sound of the cry, wondering whether or not to run to Kit and find out what happened.

FF's eyes widened as she looked from person to person (just like the ending of A Shot In The Dark!). She rushed out to see what had happened and a chill ran up and down her spine.

"Somebody's DEAD???" gasped MB. "How on---what??!! WHAT? What on Earth is going on? OH my god."
Her mind was racing. Dinner...death...doormat? What on earth was going on. MB rushed to find Kit. Confusion and fear clouded her mind.
She found Kit and looked at her with a bit of disgusted shock. "Wait--you were hoping this was going to be the FIRST time this didn't happen?? Wait--this has happened before??"
"Oh god," she thought. Now THIS was going to be an event to remember.

Kit pointed accusingly at the Chef Assistant. "YOU! How did you find her?!"
Lauryn stuttered under the sudden spotlight ----wait. Spotlight?
"Ollie turn it off!" Kit called to the balcony. There was a small grumble, "Fine."
Kit turned back to Lauryn and eyed her warily.
Lauryn managed to get out, "Well---uh, well, I wanted to get a smoke and I was going to go through the front door but....she was there and she's... dead obviously."
"You went to smoke?! How many times did I tell you not to smoke on the job?! Don't you know you can get cancer from that?! What'd I hire you for? You're fired!" Kit directed her out the door and held out her hand for Lauryn's Chef Assistant Hat.
Lauryn frowned and handed the Hat over and left to smoke off the job.

At the site of the body, and the craziness of the night....MB was starting to get light headed.
"I need to take a breather....maybe lay down." She ran to her room, which was the farthest from anyone else's. The room was located in one of the turrets of the house. She liked round.
((SORRY guys! I have class in a half an hour, so I must depart for now! *tear* And it was JUUUUUST getting super exciting!! GAH! Have fun!!))

Kit watched Montana leave abruptly. "Maybe...." She didn't act suspiciously, didn't she?
"All right, we'll get this settled soon, we just have to be careful. It could be an accident for all we know! Let's just.... go have dinner. I'll have Yusef take Aefthyth elsewhere until we can get some officials down here." Kit announced, shooing everyone back to the Dining Room to try and enjoy a much-needed moment.
Kit peeked out the entrance door and saw a fellow walking down the street, "Hey you! You a kid at the university?!"
He called back, "Yeah."
"You wanna make 30 bucks an hour being a Chef Assistant?"
".... Sure?"
"You're hired." Kit threw the Hat at him.
