Dean noticed that Aralas was on her own so he excused his wife for a dance with his Goddaughter. Alatáriël gladly accepted; it brings sorrow to her hear watching Aralas alone.

Fili spun around and Legolin spun to another corner of the dance floor. Fili winked at her and disappeared into the woods nearby. Legolin breathlessly sat down and watched the dancers.

Suddenly a voice began to sing a square dance song. Legolin started, then realized who it was "Fili, what are you doing?? This music is really pretty, not some loud dwarf song!!" Fili laughed and everyone began to square dance."he's a dwarf" Legolin sighed to Aralas and Alatariel before she was pulled into the dance.

"I love your merry choice of song, Fili! Perfect for a spring party," she said in a low voice as Fili passed by. For once they agreed on something. "I wish Kili was here", she muttered to herself. After minutes of dancing, everyone broke away and the dinner began. Aralas sat at a round table with Fili, Legolin, Alatariel and Dean. There was one spot left, and she wondered who would take it. She took her knife and fork and clashed them together, then stomped. She winked at Fili who started to do the same. Aralas broke into a grin and started singing "Blunt the Knives" in a fake dwarvish voice.

Alatariel followed Aralas singing "and bend the forks" she giggle and whispered at Dean who give her the what-the-hell-I'm-going to sing look and she whispered to him " you must sing the clause with the whole family; which is That's what Bilbo Baggins hates." she finished and all in one merry voice said "That's what Bilbo Baggins hates." and Alatriel sang her next line "Smash the bottles and burn the corks."

Legolin began to laugh and sing with the rest of the family. She learned not to look at some of the men's faces or she would laugh too hard. Dean was startled as Legolin, Aralas, Fili and Alatariel walked and stomped on the tabletops." I will have to thank Aralas later!" Legolin thought.

Aralas laughed and danced on the tabletops, and the family ended the song with a merry "Send them down the hall to roll!" With that, they jumped off the table and sat down, laughing all the way. "So you truly are part dwarf!" Fili exclaimed. "And proud of it, I must add," Aralas grinned. Then the dinner commenced. Everyone talked and laughed. Then the drinks were handed out. "Disaster will strike soon," Aralas giggled to Legolin. She took a sip of red wine and looked around. Fili was already at his fourth beer. She gave Legolin a soft poke. "You better watch out." Aralas looked around at the other men, and now she was visibly trembling. She was very scared of drunken men.
