Fluffy danced on the beautiful sounds of the Prelude of Rachmaninoff to the Ballroom. She peeked into the room and said "Good morning" to Aria. "Will you join us for a game of monopoly in the Dining Room?" she asked and before she left she added: "Oh and you should play Rachmaninoff's 3rd Concerto; it's even more beautiful!"

Indilwen hummed along to the sounds of the beautiful Rachmaninoff piece. How enchantingly haunting it sounded! She made her way to the Dining Room, going very slowly so as to better hear the strains of music sweetly wafting from the other room.

"Right then" said The Horseman. "Who would like what piece?" he asked.

Tur has turned a corner to see Nia head for the library. "By the Valar, Sell nin, where have you been?" he asked, holding her by her shoulders. It was enough that Saffron was dead, but to lose a family member, he shook his head, banishing the thought.

Indilwen hurried over to the Horseman. "I would like the thimble, if you would be so kind as to let me have it, please..." she said.

"The thimble it is" said The Horseman, smiling internally.

Eä shed her heavy travelling cloak and handed it over to one of the maids as she gradually felt more at home in the mansion. Underneath the cloak she was wearing a black dress that reached down to the floor and covered a pair of dark leather boots. Silver threads coiled in and out on the corsage top in an intricate design of perhaps a long forgotten language - perhaps simply the result of a drunk tailor.
Eä seated herself on the top of the backrest of an old arm chair, literally overseeing the gaming board that was being laid out.
She was looking about while flicking a yo-yo which she had produced from the numerous folds of her black cloak before dismissing it to the maid.

[ Hmm, listen up guys.. I'm just brainstorming right now.. I talked to some people and I think that alot people can agree that this is moving kinda fast. Wouldn't it be an idea to have an maximum-posting limit each day for every person? I heard some people already dropped out because of the speed this is moving.. which I kinda understand. We all love JFsie to death with her summaries, but of course it's more fun to actually participate in this than reading summaries to catch up.. what are your thoughts?
Oh and I didn't know whether to post this here or in the Headquarter section ]

[Probably the HQ section, but since you mentioned it--no, I don't think it's really fair to keep people from posting. Granted it moves very quickly, but everyone isn't around all of the time--you can always just jump into whatever is going on right then. It doesn't really matter what you missed--most if it is silliness anyway--and the stuff that is truly important will be posted in the HQ by Kitoky, I believe. Of course it is more fun to participate in discussions, but you can always create a discussion whenever you ARE on and participate in that one. Catching-up will be a problem regardless of how many posts there are because of our time differences or inability to get on. And if you do want to know what other people did, then JF's summaries fill in the blanks.]
Autumn had spent most of her morning wandering the house and the grounds, finding nothing of interest. She had hardly slept at all last night--partly because she was still quite awake when Kit announced bed-time, and because she was a bit afraid of what might happen if she went to sleep. As a result she had slept in very late and was just beginning to think about what to do that day.
Hearing voices in the library, Autumn happened upon a small group gathered around a monopoly board.
"Monopoly!" she exclaimed, a huge fan of board games. "Can I play, too?"

[^ I pretty much agree with that, and I addressed it in the HQ thread]
"Of course you can" said The Horseman "who would you like to be? The thimble is taken I'm afraid" he said, smiling internally.

[with all due respect, I'd say no. I haven't really been able to keep up with all this, and, obviously, the summeraries aren't the same... but... I mean, limiting posts seems a bit... extreme... especially to the people who are able to post all the time. Everyone's having fun, one way or another, I think. *shrugs* So I don't see the point of limiting someone else's posting just because I am unable to keep up. Just my 2 cents. *shrugs*]
(okay, just pretend I've been here all along... )
TT stood near Ea, contemplating whether or not she should join in on the game. After Autumn aksed, she decided to as well. "Might I join in?", she asked the Horseman. "I'll be... whatever's left."

"Oh, I really don't care," Autumn replied, trying to get a good look at the pieces. She couldn't remember then very well. A car, was there? A shoe?
(By the way JF I found the posts about Algernon/Horseman very entertaining. You created such an interesting character, he's very fun to read about!)

Fluffy sat down on the floor as she usually did. "Give me whatever you have. My luck doesn't depend on that." she chuckled.
[Understood, I replied in the HQ-thread. The limit posting thing was just an idea. Some people might like it, others not. I want everyone to enjoy this. ]

Feeling someone needed to make a decisive act, Autumn said: "There's a car, isn't there? I'll take the car!" She laughed and picked up her piece.
[Oh I completely understand where you're coming from, Fluffy. The important thing is that we all discuss whatever ideas we have so everyone, like you said, can enjoy the Hallowfest.]
(by the way, I'm at school right now (hooray for blow-off computer classes when you can get on A-U) and about to go home, so I won't be on for a while after the next few minutes. Just ignore my prescence in the monopoly game or write me in or whatever. )

"I think there is", TT shruged. "And there's an iron too, right? I'll have that." She grinned.
[No problem, Fluffy. It is important to have an open discussion of ideas to improve, I think. So... what you said was fine. ]

"This seems to be a very strange game of monopoly" said The Horsman. "I've got a thimble, revolver, boot, dog, candlestick, lead piping, boat, iron, car and a rope" he said scratching the space that would have been his head if he.. well.. you know...
"I think someone has been mixing up the pieces fro different games" he concluded.
"Help yourselves to the pieces. But the thimble was taken by Indilwen" he added.
[discussions are great, if we don't know what the problems are, how can we solve them?]
[thanks Autumn, I'm becoming quite attatched to him]
