Ooo two Masquerade balls sounds like a WONDERFUL idea! Yay! But I'm still confused on how long we'll keep up the disguise...?

And as for the Christmas tree contest, I think that's a great idea of taking pictures of your actual tree! I was wondering how that was going to work...

I've a question concerning the masq. ball- What day will we be revealing ourselves after the first ball? I know that we'll reveal ourselves the very last day for the 2nd ball, but what of the first? If we have the first masq. ball 20th-21st then I'm assuming we'll reveal ourselves later on the 21st? Or on the 22nd? I had completely overlooked this when we first planned this out. Bear with me...

LOL, Gil. Well as long as your not a club starter and you say to someone "I'll add you", there shouldn't be a problem. As for me, I'm going to have to be careful I don't mention my birthday.

Well, we havr two choices about the M Ball. We could reveal them both on the same day (27th) or we could do it seperately.

As the reaveling for the second ball is the day after the ball takes place, I suppose the revealing of the first one, would also be a day later - 22nd.



Another thing about the Tree Dec contest, is that, I think to get more entries, it probably should be started now. Either me or Larael, are happy to do this.


Now about the sled race...this is kinda complicated so bear with me...

It will be like a board game. There will be 30 squares (I will make a board as people need to see what they are doing). On the sqaures (randomly) you have to answer a question and every player will need to throw a dice at home (and be honest lol!). So let's say someone lands on number 2, which is a question square, they then have to PM the board master who has the question for that square. But, on some squares there will be things like "Rudolph lights your way, move two spaces" or "Lose Santa's hat move back one". If they get it right, they move on and if they get it wrong they stay where they are.

This way it will be a race. The questions will be arranged for each square, and because the answers are PM'd back personally to the player's it's all fair.

It will probably work out at 1 game a day with 8 players per game. If we could have a limited amount of *sign-up* time, we could then decide if we need more than one game a day.

Because each player takes it in turn, if we have to wait for a player to answer, then we wait. That way, the only way people get ahead of others, is by rolling more, not by having more goes. Each person get's to play once only, so this will give people plenty of chnaces to have a go. Awards will be given to the first 3 that finish of each race.

Holy cow, I'm so confuzzled...

We have so many activities...are we sure this isn't getting too complicated? Not trying to be negative or anything, I'm glad we have such creative and willing A-Uers, but I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed, reading about all of the stuff that's planned.
Is there still going to be time for mingling, eating, and dancing?

Gwen, it's like two contests that will be running pretty much all through the week, 2 Masquerade balls and through all seven days you can mingle, chat, do whatever you want.

You don't have to join the contests if you don't want to. And the sled race is reall just a quiz. I'll try and think of something simplier.
