Ok, the mods have planned a winter ball, a week long party for our members to celebrate the holidays, end of terms at school, friendships, and hey do we really need reasons to party together?  Anway, here's where you can post what music, decorations, ect we should have for the party. Help us out to make this ball one awesome party!

I think it should be made as festive as possible, with huge Christmas trees that reach the ceiling, and swags decorating the staircases. Lots of soft candle light as well. As for music, it should be spirited waltzes and Christmas themes, played by a traditional band in the musicans gallery.

Hmmmm......music.....a huge mixture but mainly dance and rock music...so we can all rock out! |

We should have a pretty, classical band that plays purty Christmas music. And there needs to be a coat rack. Decorations... evergreen with red bows on the banisters, big wreaths on the doors, a big tree that we get to decorate, paper snowflakes on the ceiling (we used to do this before we moved and got a super high ceiling - it looked incredibly cool!), like Johnny's Fan said, candle light; as well as nice, big, warm fires that make you feel all cozy... oh oh oh!!! Apples and oranges with cloves stuck in them! Those smelll the best! A pretty Nativity Scene, nutcrackers... Tell me if I'm overdoing it. |

I like Johnny's BIG tree, thats HAS to be there! And like Lala said,wreaths with bows and and it should eb a halls with columns so you can do a twisty wrappy thing around them with trims and red bows. I think the ceiling should be like the ones in HP, makeshift night cielings and maybe have makeshift snow all from it, but it stops like half way down, so no one really gets all wet from it, but it looks like it's there! if...that made any sense to you.

Oh, I love the fallin snow idea! and the BIG tree! love it! lots of candles and firelight, with classic christmas songs all night long! a thick layer of fresh fluffy white snow, and roasted marshmallows and drapes and a pretty nativity sene, and...ok, I'll shut up now. (btw, when I read all these a line from the Narnia movie shot into my head: "We fauns and the dryaids, would dance, all night, and you know? we...we never got tired. and the music, oh, the music!"...ok, I like that line, but I really will shut my mouth now.) |
