Hello everybody! This may seem a bit odd, but that is why I have come to the Miscellaneous Radnomness thread. My sister has gone to New Zealand to study at University of Canterbury. She is having a bit of trounble with the switch from urban America to New Zealand, and I was wondering if any of you Kiwis or anyone who has been to New Zealand could and would give me advice to pass on to her? This could include anything from how to dress (I heard that only tourists wear hoodies in NZ) to Recipes (the food she likes has really high prices) to any phrases that might be helpful.
On another note, I am going to NZ to visit her! SO I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on where to go and what to see.
