Ellie asked me to make a thread specifically for any suggestions y'all may have concerning the AU E-zine. Please post whatever ideas you have, along with a summary of your idea and I will add it to our Idea List.
P.S - I am posting the names of the members who suggested these ideas just to make sure there aren't any problems caused by who thought of what first and all that.

Hobbies – You choose one hobby that you enjoy and write about it, how you started etc. Members can PM you about your chosen hobby and ask questions concerning it. Then you can post questions and answers in the article. (Sisílcal & Johnny's Fan)

Great Days Out – Write about somewhere you have been recently that you would recommend to others. Museum, cathedral, sports event, flying show, fair etc. Rate the place on how much it costs to get in, is there a shop and is it any good, is there a café or a restaurant, how long does it take to walk round and finish (or how long was the event), is it worth the money, is it family friendly? Photography- Each issue a theme is posted, such as flowers in your garden, animals in your area etc, and then in the next issue, photos that members have sent in are printed. And then that issue asks for photos concerning the new theme. (Johnny's Fan)

Food – Write about a food item that you think sums up your country, or just something that you find locally that you like. Maybe post a recipe for that food item, so others can try it as well. (Johnny's Fan)

A-U Around the World - Every issue, we could spotlight a different country (or state, perhaps, since there are so many different places in the US-but we would mostly keep to countries) by interviewing A-U members from that country. We could include pictures, facts about the country, quotes from interviewed members about their country, and Riger-related statistics. (How many Ringers from A-U live in that country? How many tickets were sold there for the movies? Etc.) (~RinielAranel~)

Roleplaying Character of the Issue - Have a roleplaying character of the issue - either LotR or other - and have an article on them; who 'owns' them, what fandom they're from/character type (e.g. vampire, pixie etc.), some quotes from members about them, what is the general feedback from members about what they're like as a character, some basic information, pros and cons of them, etc. (Sisílcal)
