Post subject:  Mrs. Haldir's Baby Shower *all are welcome*
<center>Mae govannen everyone and welcome to Mrs. Haldir's Baby Shower.

The common room of the talan of the Mom-To-Be and her husband is beautifully decorated with small silver and blue lights. White streamers also decorate the room. Haldir says he may stop by at some point, but I will not guarantee that since usually the fathers have no involvement in baby showers. He does sometimes appear in the places he least expects to be so we may see him. Who knows what he may have planned. Ones who are bringing gifts or any other party favors (you do not have to) can leave them on the table near the door. There is also plenty of food, sweets and drinks. (no ale please) The handmaiden will show you in upon arrival.

Like balloons? These little air fill balloons are scattered about the floor. Feel free to toss them around if you desire so. But be careful, they pop. XD

NOTE: The shower will run for a couple of weeks or so and hopefully that will give everyone a chance to join in on this special occasion.

Mrs. Haldir, the Mom-To-Be, sat in the common room of her talan, patiently waiting for the guests to arrive. This little baby shower had been through together by the Elves of Lórien, with a lot of help by Lady Galadriel. Many, who were excited to see that a child will be born in the realm once again. There hadn't been a birth in many years. Although she had been well aware of shower, Mrs. Haldir still couldn't help but be excited. Then again, what Soon-To-Be-Mom isn't?

At last, the first guest arrives. Turwaithiel enters wearing a light dress gown of silver color, and carrying a small wrapped gift.

Turwaithiel stops by and signs the guestbook and then looks around, spotting Mrs. Haldir, and waves.

Nurrantiel dashed into the talan common room with a large bundle under her arm. She quickly signed the guestbook [font=porcelain]Nurrantiel Mashiara[/font] and rushed over to her daughter.

"Oh, I'm just so thrilled!" she exclaimed as she kissed Mrs. Haldir on the cheeck. "This is just so exciting!" She looked around uncertainly. "Where should I put the gift? Or should you just open it now?"

She spotted Tur and waved her over. "And how excited are you to be a great-aunt?" she asked her sister.

Tur saw Nurr and grinned, going over and giving her a hug. "I am so excited!" She said, grinning at Mrs. Haldir. "But you must be even more excited, sister!" She said, again at Nurr.

Mrs. Haldir's head snapped up when she heard footsteps entering her home and saw that it was Turr who had came in. "Turr! Welcome!" she greeted brightly. "I am so glad you could make it."
She then saw Nurr walk in soon after Turr had. She smiled big.
"Momma! You're here!" She stood up and hugged her. "It is exciting. I am having a difficulty containing myself," she admitted. "Oh, you can place the gift on the table." Mrs. Haldir pointed towards to table by the door.

"I am so glad I could come!" Tur said, putting her gift on the table. "I am so happy for you, dear, but you are making me feel so old by making me a great Aunt!" Tur said, laughing.

Mrs. Haldir laughed as well. "Oh, you are not getting old. Grandmother sometimes thinks she's getting old seeing that she is going to be a Great Grandmother. I think she sometimes forgets that she cannot get old."

Tur grinned. "Ah, but I think I cannot ever get old because the amazing family I have will keep me alive forever smiling." She said. "How are you feeling? Are you feeling okay?"

"I know, this family is amazing isn't it?" Mrs. Haldir said. "We seem to have a lot of old farts in this family." She laughed. "Oh, I am feeling just fine. The baby is starting to kick a lot but I am alright."

"You best be watching what you say about old farts," Nurr warned, shaking an imaginary cane. A large smile spoiled the effect. "Our family is wonderful. Ah, mum always moans about being old, but she's still wonderful."

Mrs. Haldir grinned. "Oh, Momma, you know I am only jesting. At least we do not age. We only look better as we get older," she said proudly. "I know, isn't she? I hope she will be able to show up."

"I'm sure she will show up soon, as long as you don't call her that." Tur said, grinning. "Ah, alas, I am glad to hear you are feeling well, and that a baby is kicking. That means he will be healthy when he is born and active when he get's older!"

"Indeed, that is always a good sign. I do believe he will be a very energetic one," Mrs. Haldir said. "In my mind, I am picturing that he will look like a younger version of his father."

"Oh yes, indeed he will," Mrs. Haldir agreed. "I think at some point in time, I may have to give him a stick to beat the elleths away." She laughed.

Tur laughed, and then grinned. "Ah, yes, but I think you will need more than a stick!" She glanced around at Nurr and Haldir and then lowered her voice, "If I tell you both a sercret, will you promise to keep it? I've been wanting to tell someone from our family from sometime now, and I haven't figured out a way to tell my mother yet..."
