Well, as to the first order of business, I have a question. Are members of the council able to be nominated for Lord and Lady? After all, they were chosen because they're the most involved, pretty much.

On to the second point, I would be perfectly happy to make banners for the Lord and Lady.

I think something that may help keep the club going would be a ginormous tournament. I'd be happy to help organize it. But I think we could have the crowning of the Lord and Lady as well as a chance to bring in new members and have a revival for ourselves. Give me a bit more time to think on this though, I think I can come up with some good ideas.

I think, speaking of the whole..... never posting thing until after 6 months at the bck is that its not just new members we need, its older members that we need to post more often. Thats the issue I think, we have alot of peeps on the member list, but very few comparitively post regularly.

As for the Lord and Lady, well, organisational skills would help.....

Sorry I'm late, schoolwork is killer, especially if you have to do two days of work in a day because of an up-coming confrence. And because of which I will not be able to get on the computer at all Friday afternoon-Sunday afternoon.

But anyway, to the order of buisness.

*clears throat*
My opinion on the Lord and Lady of the club is that they should be two people who will stay with the club through thick and thin. And will help revive it. I say it in futur tense because if we can get old members who haven't posted forever to get more involved, they could be possible Lord or Lady. Or new members could be Lord or Lady. I don't think we should have to limit ourselves with those who have stuck with the club say in the last few months. There the numbers to choose from would be too few, and others wouldn't have the chance of even getting their name thought of.

And I agree with Lord of Death, the Lord and Lady should have good organization skills.

And I agree with Nurr about the ginormous tornament. That would be fun. I think a tornament would have more effect for a revival than our festival we had a few months ago that we pretty much only had one thing happen...

Well, different people have different skills. Why not hold a poll to see who has which skills? That way we can maybe balance out the graphic makers, to the artist. The story writers, to the poets, and such. And so then would could have the tornament as a mixture of them all and see who comes out on top at each section. Those would have a tournament against each other of Knightly knowledge maybe? Or something like that... I don't know. Just brain storming here...

The last time we had a "tournament" we ended up at the back of the club board....

Its not a case of special events, its a case of keeping up a running conversation I think.

But, let us begin our debate on whom shall lead us in future. Also, shall we disband this Order after the Lord and Lady are selected? Or shall it be kept as an independant board?

@LoD: I agree, we need to be able to keep conversations up. But I do think a tournament would bring back the people who haven't been around as well as promoting us a bit. Then we can get down to actually talking instead of just having 3 people posting. Plus, tourneys are fun and it'd be a good way to introduce the lord & lady.

Speaking of which. Here's the list of members (at least what was on the first page). I'll just give you my rundown of thoughts, maybe you all can add to them.

2) Meldawen --good candidate, though someone should talk to her and bring her back into the discussion

8) Elfy --?
9) Eldarwen --I know she's not around much
10) Will --same thoughts as Melda
11) Stilluvhaldir --err..haven't seen her in a long time
12) Haldir --I believe this is Haldir o Lorien? She's not around much now
13) Timothy --is this timtimtimtim? If so, good person
