Okay, believe it or not, this is nothing more than a simple poll to see who likes grapefruits and who doesn't, because I've noticed a disturbing tendency towards not liking grapefruits among my friends recently. :P

I love grapefruits, though I don't get the chance to eat them very often.

By the way, is it possible to eat a grapefruit like you would an orange? My mum says you can't slice grapefruits in sections, but I've heard otherwise. :)

Well, to be honest, I don't like grapefruits. I love any kind of citrus fruits, but grapefruits are so... bitter... I simply can't take their taste...
And I think you can slice grapefruits into sections, Larael, tho I'm not sure...

And Larael, my mom used to eat a grapefruit every morning with her breakfast. She peeled it like an orange or sliced it.. so I think you can treat it exactly like an orange, if you care. :-)

I absolutely hate grapefruit. They're sour and tart and everything nasty all at once. They make me screw my face up and turn my head inside out.

Vile horrid things. I'd rather barbecue my own tongue than eat one again. :yuck:

wow, a lot of people don't like grapefruit. I like it... *shrug*
as for it being bitter, um, that's why one eats it with sugar.

Doesn't help at all old bean. :no: The sugar just settles on top of it, when you get to the nastiness inside, there is no competition. I'd have to eat one bag of sugar with one part grapefruit before it could possibly be eaten.

Yesh, sugar is good with it. I especially love though, when you've eaten all the fruit and you get to squeeze out the juice and drink/eat it.

Well, I hate them too. :yes: I remember how my grandmother loved them and always tried to get me to, but I like sweet things.

*shuffles over closer to Nurr, Lar and Gilly while eyeing all teh strange people* :P wow, I didn't know there were that many people out there who disliked grapefruit so much! it's so yummy with sugar and then, like what Nurr said, drinking the juice afterward! :yes:

I love grapefruit. And no, I don't eat it as I would an orange because the inner peel's much thicker and harder to peel off.
