Lying in the midst of a wood in the valley, is a vast compound, home to the vacation spot of the great Herenya's Line. But this family is no ordinary family, their story goes way back, for they are an ancient and long line, ever growing. The estate's front entrance comes from the winding road that travels through the trees and leads back to the main road. Through tall iron black gates and down the stone path, you come upon the mansion. Three floors high and many wings and sections leading from the main house, it is something to marvel at. With it's own private pool, a lake, stables, the surrounding area provides many features.

Goldleaf and Boromir's strong Gondorian horses hurtled towards the family vacation house of Herenya's line. Goldleaf was dressed all in simple white, with a circlet of white and blue flowers threaded through her long golden hair. Boromir was dressed in Gondorian black and silver.
They both dismounted once having reached the house. Goldleaf took Boromir's arm and they walked up to the great doors.
"This is going to be so much fun," Goldleaf told her husband, smiling. "A holiday with all the family."
"Indeed," Boromir said, glad to see his wife smiling and happy. He was a bit intimidated by her vast family, but they seemed to be cheerful and welcoming to him.

The front doors swung open and Aranel smiled widely at her daughter and son-in-law. "So glad you make it, you two!" She hugged Goldleaf and then Boromir. "I hope your trip was fine!" She wore a red tunic with the Uchiha emblem and black leggings and boots. "Come on in! I just fixed everything up!"

Goldleaf hugged her mother back tightly, and Boromir met his mother-in-law's embrace with a surprised smile. "We're glad to be here with the family," Goldleaf said. They both followed her into the house, taking in their surroundings.

Nerissa walked up the driveway, Walter tagging along behind her. He tugged on her hand. "Do I really have to wear this suit?" he whispered. "Mmmhmm... now come on," Neri insisted, and nearly tripped over her long, light blue dress. "We want to look nice for the family." She led the way up toward the door.

"Goldy! Nellie! So good to see you!" she cried as they drew near.

"Nerissa! Walter!" squealed Aranel happily. "It's good to see you too!" She hugged them both and pulled them inside. She thought for a moment then said to everyone gathered, "I guess, we can head into the family room. When everyone else arrives, Itachi's ninja senses shall tingle." She giggled and led them through a hallway on the right of the grand staircase. "Speaking of which, he's waiting for us there at the moment."

"Brilliant to see you, Nerissa and Walter," Goldleaf grinned, before following Aranel towards the staircase. She then spotted her grim father and smiled. "Father! Oh, how are you?"
Boromir glanced at his stern father in law. He hoped that Goldleaf's father wouldn't take this opportunity to try out anything ninja-ish on him.

Itachi stood at the doorway, still and tall...and intimidating. Aranel shook her head and grabbed his arm, pulling him into the family room. You'd think him being a ninja, he'd expect something like this, but maybe he likes the attention. Aranel shook the thoughts from her mind, laughing mentally. She heard her husband say, "I'm quite fine, dear daughter. If only your mother would stop man-handling me, I'd be even better." Aranel poked him hard and let go.

"Oh, that's good to hear. I'm sure mother means well," Goldleaf laughed when Itachi replied to her question.

"Of course I mean well. The way he's talking you'd think I've been beating him up." She plopped herself down on armchair and watched Itachi move to stand near the high windows. She turned to Goldleaf and smiled. "So how's everything with you two?"

"Everything's just fine." Goldleaf sat down on a couch. Boromir joined her, glancing around the room. "Though he's not talking much. Are you Boromir?"
"Hmm?" Interrupted from his thoughts, whatever they were, Boromir glanced at his wife.
"He can talk enough when he feels it fit," Goldleaf said with a fond smile and a roll of her eyes up to the cieling, "I think it's just the family that put him on edge."

A chuckle escaped Aranel. "Are we that intimidating? Well, Itachi deliberately seems that way anyway. It's just to hide the fact that he's a big softie." A pillow flew at her and she caught it. "Come on Goldy, maybe I should help you settle in. I've found a room I think you might like." She purposely said this, to get her daughter alone, so as to let the men have a moment to get to know eachother.

Laughing, Goldleaf rose from the couch and followed her mother from the room.

There was a moment of deadly silence in the family room. Boromir looked over at his father in law, who was adopting a grim silence that Boromir found unsettling. "So, ah..." Boromir pondered for something to say. "Nice weather, don't you think?"

Itachi heard Boromir and replied with the trademark, "Hn." He found it deeply amusing that his son-in-law was intimidated by him. Then again, so was everyone who met him for the first time. He mentally laughed and kept up his nonchalant appearance.

Meanwhile, possibly aware of the mental torture Boromir would have to endure, Aranel lead Goldleaf down the second floor's main hall. "I'm wondering what those two are up to." She tried to picture the two men having a conversation, but it was hard. "Ah here we are." After many side halls and doors, she opened one and walked in.
