Legolas15 here, For about 7 hours now, I've had really sharp and painful tingling in my right side of my face...I'm really scared, I need some advice. I also have a headache for a few days, and my stomache doesn't feel well. What should I do? Do I need to call 911? Please help, I'm exceedingly scared and frightened. Thanks. I don't know, but you certainly need to go see a physician. That doesn't sound normal... ![]() |

Do you have a family doctor dear? You should call him/her and if not then perhaps the nearest doctor and if not even that, then definitely 911 I guess. It's sounding serious and I'm getting more worried over you. ![]() ![]() |

Hm... sounds exactly like something my dad's cousin had... I forget what he said it was... *thinks really hard* I don't remember. I even asked my dad. But Tod, my dad's cousin, had had tingling in his face, and headaches, and then woke up one morning and half his face was drooping and numb. I don't mean to scare you or anything! I mean, he's fine, normal, alive, and the only way you could tell he had it is a slurr that you can only hear if you listen closely! Of course, he was also a very accident prone person... like the one time he fell of the ladder and... but never mind. I'd say go/call the doctor. I'd bet they'd know what's going on! |

I think it would be better for you to ask a physician for advice than to ask us. You don't need advice for something like this. If you're not feeling well and you're scared about it, call a physician. You don't need our confirmation. |

Thanks I will try that tomorrow. Just keep me in your prayers/thoughts tonight. Eruraina- Do you have a thing against accident prone people, because I'm one also! |

You are in my prayers! And I agree with HoL about telling a physician, instead of us. Though it is good for one to tell somebody accept a doctor. And if I had something against accident prone people, then I would be holding something against myself! And my little brother! And my dad... so, yeah, I've got nothing against accidnt prone people! |

I'm back. I went to my doctor this morning, and he said it waslike a "miny stroke", he explain much more clearly than how I did, he say it is caused from a lot of stress & anxiety. But thankfully the tingling is gone, and my friece headache has diminshed greatly. He says I might have another one but he says to take it easy, and rest. |

Ehm I don't know.. but a stroke (however large or mini it is) can't really be caused by stress. The cause of a stroke is often blood clotting in the brain which is caused by a disease like thrombosis. |

It's can be one of the many causes of it. But the way that it happened to me is rare. So I don't know what to tell you but I am feeling better, that's what counts. |

My mom had a mini stroke back in April... apparently, for a lot of people, they occur in areas of the brain where they will never know they had a stroke... but hers was in an area that it affected something that controls the ocular (eye) muscles, so one eye... turned kinda lazy for several months. It's still kinda wonky. |
