As you know, this is all in aid of ROTR which is being held this summer. There will be various events that everyone can participate in, whether you can or can't write or make graphics, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. And almost as importantly, as you join these events, you win points for our team at the same time. Yay! As your team leader, I will be keeping a tally of all the points that are awarded throughout ROTR and keeping you up to date with all the challenges we'll be having, and just basically being here to answer any questions you may have. But most importantly, this thread is to chill out with your fellow team members, and discuss what's happening with ROTR!

[As an added fun thing, I thought it might be interesting to see what our names would be if we were really Dwarves. I used this <a href="http://www.myprecious.us/name_generator.php" target="blank">generator</a>. So tell me your Dwarven name and I'll add it to the list. Remember this is only for fun, not something you should change your username for.  ]
And now we shall move onto information about the first challenge of ROTR 2010!
Team Moria Needs you: Challenge #1
Create either a) a flag b) a poster or c) a song that is related to Moria. One entry per person, and you have to choose one medium from the above listed. It doesn't matter if everyone chooses to make a flag, whatever you want, you can make. Be it a rousing song, a flag any Dwarf would be proud to carry into battle or a poster every Dwarf wants above his bed, it doesn't matter! Remember: the more members who contribute, the more points we get! So get your thinking helms on and be creative! There is do deadline for this challenge.
Challenge #2: Puzzle Challenge
Finish the puzzle and win one point for Moria!

Oo, yeah! I think this is gonna be an amazing ROTR this year! Team Moria will dominate!!
Okay, so I found my dwarf name rather ironic: Nwryan of Moria!  Haha, I think it works.
I shall be thinking about what to do to help with the first challange. Muahaha!  _________________

Okay, I get it. By the way, I love the flag!
So I whipped up a rather silly song. Just to warn you, it might be painful to read. Oh! And I apologize to the USA state of Virginia for using you in such manner. Haha.

Lor En Estel, that's fantastic!  And JF, what a perfect flag for Moria! No idea what I'm going to do yet, but I'll definitely figure something out. My Dwarven name is interesting, by the way. Feast your eyes on Jungwen, Queen under the Mountain.  No, I kid you not. But please, just call me Jungwen.

You can if you want.  It's terribly long to type out though. I was certainly surprised it was the first name to come out of the generator!
