Post subject:  IMPORTANT: Yule Ball Planning and Discussion
Hello All! As it appears that no one else is taking initiative, I shall be co-coordinating the Yule Ball this year. However, I shall need all the help I can get, so feel free to PM me. :D

Anyway, I shall start all threads except contests. If someone else could take that on I would be extremely grateful. Here is a general outline of the threads that there will be.

If I am missing anything, or you would like to add anything, tell me! I am trying to draw up an itinerary right now and would appreciate input. :)

I think the 'who youre going with' and 'what your wearing' threads should just be one thread. And there should be one for playing in the snow and one for music making and feasting :D

Ok! I'll combine the wearing and taking threads. Also, the House thread would be for merrymaking and whatnot, and the grounds thread would be for caroling/snowballfighting/snowman-making and whatever else we do outside. Does that make sense?

It's I-T-I-N-E-R-A-R-Y, I think, but I could be wrong. I'm going to be out starting the 26th though so maybe it wouldn't be a good idea for me to be doing something big...

With the ball room and garden you can easily pop in when you have time and say goodbye when you need to leave.

Here is the Itinerary!

<center>Yule Ball 2009</center>

20th – 22nd Greet and Gather (Everyone arrives at the house and rambles around. Some exploring is involved :) )
23rd – 24th Christmas Eve Party (This is NOT the masquerade… yet. This is just a gathering of people, because I know everyone will be busy because of Christmas. During this party, Christmas trees (indoors) and snowmen (outdoors) shall be provided and you can decorate them with your date or as a group.)
25th As this is Christmas day, nothing big shall be held this day, just party and have fun.
26th-29th Decorating and getting ready for the New Year. This will also be the period of time where we build snow forts and have a giant snow war. Be prepared for victory and hot cocoa.
30th –1st MASQUERADE! Please assume alternate identities (if you so desire) and try to guess who others are. All shall be revealed in due time… maybe.
2nd The end of the Yule Ball. :( As we all reveal our true identities and depart we shall all fondly remember the Yule Ball and anticipate many in the future. :)

Also, as I am a lover of surprises, there will be some surprises during and after the ball, so keep your eyes (and computer keys) ready and waiting.

Hey, I happened to remember something from last year. We did some sort of "caroling," that involved putting lines from Christmas songs at the end of every post we made. Would it be possible for us to do it again this year? I remember it was quite fun. :)

Example:
We wish you a merry Christmas! We wish you a merry Christmas! We wish you a merry Christmas, and a happy New Year!

We should make more time for the masquerade. It is okay for multiple events to happen at the same time. I'd give the mask 4 days. Two to be in mask, two for the guessing.
