I felt like doing this because the show is so freakin' amusing so...why don't we pick a race/warrior class/warrior character from two different mediums (films, telly show, video game, tabletop game, anime, etc) and have the person below decide who would win (list why) and think of their own battles. Oh and list the weapons they'll be using. So for example....


Prawns from District 9 or Na'vi from Avatar

Prawns
ARC gun (shoots lightning)
The Repeater
Bio-suit (Mecha suit that has ARC gun, chaingun, missiles, and telekinetic field)

Na'vi
Direhorse Calvary
Mountain Banshee Unit
Bow and arrow
Knifes

Scenario: The prawns land on an area close to the forest on Pandora

Battle Outcome: Na'vi will investigate prawn arrival and try to attack them. The Na'vi with their fast direhorses and natural agility will hold out for a while but the Bio-suit may prove to be the decisive winner here. Its ability to redirect arrows back to the Na'vi and push away objects, as well as its firepower, can prove to be deadly for the Na'vi. However the Na'vi do have an aerial aspect in their forces which gives them an extra advantage. Hand to hand, the Prawn with superior strength will beat a Na'vi.

Victor: Draw

Now, since this is all opinion and speculation, no one comments on the battle itself. Well, you can just don't say "The Na'vi would have won because they're awesome!" I like District 9 more than Avatar but I'm convinced this would end in a draw. So next battle for anyone willing.
