So, here's the plan, Lembas... I'll dance with Legolas while you dance with Aragorn. Then, when we're done with our dance, you can have Legolas back and then I'll move on to Eomer.

Hm..... I'm going to be a little more out of the norm here with my dress and date.

My dress I am currently working on designing myself, but won't be able to make so my picture will be a drawing when I'm done.

Also, my date will not be one from Middle-Earth. I will be taking my hubby(of 3 years now) Cloud Strife :3
Though I wouldn't mind a dance with Aragorn, Legolas, Eomer, Faramir, any of the hobbits, or other wonderful Middle-Earth men.

And why does it seem like Gandalf and Gimli always get left out of these things?

Because, Gandalf is old and Gimli is just... Stinky.

Except, I wouldn't mind dancing with Gandalf. He would be like a grandpa to me<3

OMG, i'm loving the sound of this Hobbit Party...but i am slightly confused. Can someone clear this up for me: is this an actual party, like in real life, or a AU celebration? i feel like a total ditz asking this, but i'm sure i've missed something. thanks

Because Gandalf is always in charge of fireworks, and would be a lousy date because you know he'd spend all his time keeping Merry and Pippin in check, and Gimli would embarrass himself drinking everyone under the table and passing out

Estelio: It's an AU event, we'll open a thread before the 22nd and we throw a party on the forum it's not a real event

Naaah, I still can't make up my mind yet. I can't decide between a LotR (actually Silmarillion character) and a person from RL.

Actually I thought at first to go with Beleg, but on the other hand we have an Elven ball coming up, so I think he's more appropriate date for it. (I'm afraid he'll refuse to escort me on the Elven ball if I go with him now )

I finally finished my dress for the party! I wanted something a mix between hobbitish and elvish and was flowing and short enough to dance easily in but long enough to be decient, and this is what I came up with.

Ignore anything drawin in pencil, all the colored parts(sharpie) is what you should pay attention to. And I will be going barefoot. And the clip in my hair is in the shape of a Lorien leaf brooch.
