Boy you're lucky. We need pictures. :-D

I have several, I just need to take the time to upload them to Imgur. I suppose this will fit into the procrastination thread.

My niece's ***hole of a father allowed my older sister to have her for Thanksgiving this year. Which is odd sense he was actually suppose to have her this year. He gets odd years and my older sister gets even years. Whatever, it's all fine here. He's the biggest dumb*** anyway. The more she stays away from her father, the better.

(that sounded like another for the rant thread)

We had a bit of rain yesterday. Got home from work to find water running out of the garage door and down the driveway. The lower level was soggy as the rainwater pooled up by the back wall and found a way in and through. I need to install a U-drain along the wall.

Still larger remnants of yesterday’s snowfall to be seen on the meadow.

Working on water route mitigation before the next heavy rain episode this summer. Removed part of a brick planter box so the water can run free around the house.

The temperature stayed below freezing all day today.

Had a nasty fall a week ago Friday. I'm definitely getting too old for such crap!

Well, the car is totaled. That's great. It was a shared vehicle, so no one in this household has car right now.

I have an appointment with my ophthalmologist tomorrow, just past rush-hour time (and only to be reached by a convoluted path from where we live). Unfortunately, we have had our first snowfall of the year with temperatures just below freezing (we’re talking about the odd inch so far, but who knows what the rest of the night may bring). So maybe the odd idiot is still driving around in his car with non-winter-tires. And there is the question about whether the snow-clearance troops have been alerted (I admit I would be totally useless as even a nominal member …). The examination totally precludes my driving there by myself, and even if I had a different examination which would allow me to drive there with my own car (with winter tires!), the above-mentioned idiot (most likely some brain-dead manager) would suffice to cause the traffic equivalent of a cardiac arrest on any road the moron happens to be on.

Have I ever mentioned that I have some subjects where I tend towards paranoia? :hide:

After leaving in this place since 2004, we got washers and dryers in the place. However, the damn landlord informed everyone in the building except me that they were up and running. Excusez-moi! Pourquoi? :annoyed2: It matters not. Another tenant that lives on the floor below said the dryers weren't working anyway.

Result from my ophthalmologist examination today: the cataract has not gone away, but since it is not hindering me, I’ve decided to let the issue rest for another half year.

Due to my persistent right-sidedness, I managed to reinjure the the muscles I injured when I fell by automatically reaching up and closing the trunk with my right hand. :duh:

As soon I get my Christmas tree up, one of the cats knock it over.

Having had to drive around town today, we noticed there is an awful lot of roadwork going on (which led to us getting stuck in traffic jams a lot more than we care for).

If someone were to threaten my life, I'd probably just shrug it off cause I don't have a positive outlook on it, but when you threaten the lives of my friends, you are just asking to awaken the she-beast from hell who will hunt you down and rip out your throat.
