This has been the case since I got my first glasses back in about 1990/91. I just can’t stand drops of water on my glasses! |

I once even had a compact duomatic, which was quite useful when entering a bus – though entering last was also advisable with this thingy, otherwise people behind you would get sprayed a bit when it closed with a snap.

I forgot my umbrella in the car yesterday, but remembered to take it back to our apartment today after getting the winter tires. I haven’t lost one in ages. |

Well, when it’s windy, hats can also end up in the lost-and-found – or in the lost, anyway.    For rain with wind, I very much prefer parkas with hoods. |

When I see and buy (or am given as a present) a really fat book whose title sounds interesting to me, and that suspicion is confirmed, I can get focused on reading to a degree that “real life” becomes an irrelevant blur on the periphery. |
