I'm happy to read that, Gersemi, I really am. :)

As am I. It's rare to see you admitting you are happy.

Its the beginning of December. Time to put up the Christmas tree!

Maybe tomorrow. First Advent Sunday. Another thing my wife keeps me away from, probably for good reasons. ;-)

Some of my outside lights are up, and the rest will go up this week.

Started getting the Christmas stuff out. Going to start decorating throughout the week. I never really look forward to Christmas, though since I lost my grandfather shortly before Christmas. It's not the happiest time, but I try to be for the sake of the small children in my life.

The littlest event that few understood made me happy. Happiness is a very short lived thing when you battle depression.

I don't tolerate stupidity too much. It really grinds my gears.

I despise people who brag about being a member of Mensa, and promptly underestimate their competition, because they're presumably not members of the organisation. They always seem so surprised when they get their asses cleaned by the competition.

I have a private (I think, can’t exclude the possibility that I’ve read it somewhere) definition of arrogance. I compare it to the metal alloy bronze, which as per Wikipedia was classically a combination of perhaps 88% copper and 12% tin. The equivalent of the 88% copper in arrogance is ignorance.

I can't stand the shiithole so-called president of the USA.
I also can't understand how a majority of evangelical so-called christians can support this clownstick and his views.
(Cue Will telling me not to mention politics or religion)

I can't understand the number of 'educated' women who voted for him.

I'm utterly baffled over this new thing with people eating tide pods. There's very dire consequences for that. Why are people so damn stupid?

It is stupid, but those of us over a certain age probably remember the 'good old days', when we thought nothing of getting drunk, and driving our cars.

... how is that "getting to know you"?
Anyway... I always thought that of everyone who is into self-harm. This tide-fad is just another "stupid is as stupid does" thing.

Hey, what was wrong with that? If you closed one eye, there were a proper number of lanes on the road. Seriously,
it was stupid, and was not treated as serious either. In Washington State, the limit at the time was .1, and you got a ticket if you were caught.

I don't have much sympathy for stupidity
