The more I browse AU, the more I marvel at how many witty people there are on here. It never fails, when I'm really depressed, that someone on AU will make me laugh. So, I thought, wouldn't it be nice to get all the great quotes and put them on one thread? Thus - I present to you, The Magnificent AUers Quotable Quotes.
Excepting submissions now.
Rules: (gotta love them!)
1. Must be a quote from an AU member.
2. Must follow AU's rules.
3. Must be witty, humorous, or otherwise smile-inducing.
Ahem. I do hope there isn't another thread similar to this... I searched for a while and didn't find one. And I do hope you guys enjoy this!

It's hilarious. He was talking about a Radiohead song...

Crush on You - Brucey Baby
^On the evolution of Bruce Springsteen's name this afternoon.
As you can see, we have great conversations over in the "What Are You Listening To?" thread.

EDIT: Sweeney Todd wrote: My best bet after trying out with photography, or helping out behind the scenes at the local art centre where they put on plays, is to marry someone very rich.
We were discussing jobs and what we wanted to do. JF-ish-ness didn't know.

Thanks for the approval everyone! I certainly know I'm going to enjoy this thread! I already am, actually.
<Lad> - I would prefer you quote another member of AU.

How fun! I'll probably be able to quote many people here, except myself, because I'm pitiful when it comes to humour and the like.

Dark: I said that what, six months ago? Wow.

Ok, I'm done. ^On the release date of Sweeney Todd MontanaBohemian wrote: To fully understand how to pronounce Quinoa you must understand that according to legend, Queen Mad decreed that (besides Queen) all U's after Q's must be ignored. Thus, Quinoa would be pronounced EEN-O-AH!!! With 3 exclamation marks ALWAYS afterwards. To answer your second question. The enchantress Teliza Zil was cooking in Queen Mad's kitchen (before she was banished to her erasatz tree) and Lima wandered in not paying attention to what was in front of him and was playing with an electronic device...he then ran right into Teliza and her concoction she was preparing for the Queen. Pretzels, Oreos, aluminum foil and Organic Chocolate Milk all fell into the rice...and it all went BOOM What chemically happened, no one knows for sure. But when everything cleared out...and both Lima and Teliza could see and hear again...they all noticed there were tiny beads of food all over the place.
^I have no idea. But it's genius.
