The Sight Outside My Window
I heard the marching of foot soldiers one lonely winter night,
& the sound of drums beating steadily closer. The trumpets sounded, the cannons boomed, the world around me shook with thunder!
The squeal of horses falling to their deaths. The sound of rifles pounding. Were all the thing I heard on this cold dark night.
I looked out my window, & what I saw terrified me!
I saw men lying sprawled across the hills, oh my beautiful hills!
They were streaked with blood & dying.
Oh how I felt like crying at the sight that I beheld!
The hills I loved were not but a big red blur, that seemed to go on forever. I couldn’t take my eyes off the valley that lay out my front door. There were men scurrying here and there, shooting at each other.
How could they all shoot to kill each other?!?
I’ll never understand the sight outside my window.
Why would anyone kill someone else? I just don’t understand, how man can be so cruel! Oh the sight outside my window was such a gruesome thing! I wish I could forget, all that I had seen!
But in my mind they stay, so I feel that I must say, “Never shall I be a part of such misery!”

Wow, this very good.
I'm guessing it was meant to be narrative prose?
But it was alot more story and passage-like than poetry, quite good none-the-less.

Thanx, Yeah I don't quite understand it all either...
haha! I Just wrote it... I had fun writing it, and now I'm having fun writing my book. lol
