Another poem... again, not the best.
Advice is appreciated. 
Rain
I stare out the window
Bored with the sameness of life.
The lonely days drag on
Repeating again and again.
The sky is overcast and grey
And I wish that it would rain.
Although rain means sadness and gloom to many,
To me it is happiness and love.
Rain is a friend in the hard times
A companion in the dark.
When it rains my pain is washed away,
Like footprints in the sand.
Then suddenly it happens,
The clouds burst above.
I run outside and let rain pour down upon me
And it speaks works of comfort and love.
The rain runs down my skin
It seeps down into my soul.
I stretch out my arms and laugh
For the first time in so very long.
The rain pours its friendliness down upon me
It washes away the sorrow and grief
Laughing and rejoicing with this companion
Such a simle thing, yet so fulfilling.
All i can say is keep it up! I luv it! 
(yes, i know, i shouldnt be, but i am; cant help it....) Water is also def. my element as well!
