I don't usually do free verse but thats the way this one turned out. Hope you like it.
Something,
Nothing,
One thing,
Everything.
A kaleidoscope of good and evil,
That spirals down the banks of the rivers.
It turns the waters to blood,
And none escape it's claws.
Death,
Life,
Barely living,
Barely dead.
A haunting image of love and hate,
A bleeding image of sorrow cold.
But on it's tongue are words so cruel,
As it bends down and whispers, "I love You."
