I'm babysitting my cousin's 2nite....they were laying there alseep, & i started watching the youngest one, who's 5......i noticed all the looks he gave me & everything, & then i watched him, laying there, asleep, not a care in the world....thus, this poem was born. It's not very good, but....it's just something to think about....it's also prob really choppy & not smooth......just keep in mind it's 10 @ night here, i was up til 5 last night, so i'm really really tired....lol anyways, here it is.....

Little boy lays in his bed.
He knows nothing of the world
Knows nothing of grief and sorrow,
Knows nothing of fear and pain.
What does he know?
What's going on inside that head,
When he looks at you, with those bright eyes?
It's almost as if he knows something we don't.
He sees the world from a different point of view.
What would it be like
To spend a day looking through his eyes?
So oblivious.
So innocent.
So careless.
It's almost as if a child
Is a glimpse
Of how it should be;
Of how it will be.
It's almost as if a child;
A little boy
Or little girl,
So innocent,
So perfect,
Is a glimpse
Of Heaven.
