Very very cool! I loved it. There were a few typoes I think but I can't say mucha bout that I do that tons! lol
Wonderfull message lovely flow to it and I absalutely loved the way you did the ending! excelent job.

It was raining last night and I couldn't sleep, so I wrot this... <center>I lay upon my pillow As soft as a feather, And listen to the wind in the willow And think of how it's a treasure to me. The rain falls onto the ground From a starless night. I listen to the sound Of the rain in the moonlight, Though little there may be. The dripping of a raindrop, Fills all around me. Yet the thudding of horse hooves Is within me. I think of the times that have passed. The loved ones gone. I remember the good days, Filled with light and prosperity. And remember the bad days, consumed by sadness, darkness, and anger. I think of what is happening, And how our world is decaying. Yet hope is within, But only in the small places. I see how men change From past to present. I think of what has yet to come. The light that has yet to be seen. The dark that is waiting to consume. Sorrow we have yet to embrace. Happiness yet to find. Love awaits around every corner, And so do many crimes. As the rain falls around me, I think of my TRUE friends. Those whom I understand, And understand me back. They won't lie or decieve, And are truthful forever on. The rain upon my face Inspires me to sing, And sing I will, about my race. And the world around me dancing. In this dancing world, Time has not slowed, But sped up to it's fastest, That i have ever known. We rarely stop to admire, The little things in life. Like a flower in our path, Or even just a butter knife, That we would use everyday. Have you ever stopped to consider The songs all around? I have! And it always makes me wonder Why this world can be so cruel. Yet so beautiful as well. A rain drop, A gust of wind, A squirrel upon the grass. Batures beat. A motor running, A driver speeding, A man yelling down the street. Man's beat. Time is just a conception, Of how long this is. A second. A minute. An hour. A day. "Time is of the essence" Some say. Because before you know it *snap* It fades away... |

Thanks Jax and Slickman! Hm... when I have time I'll go back and fix the typos... Though everyone has their share of typos, right? lol! And yeah, I favor the ending, too! |
