As you can see I have never really gotten in to poetry but I thought I might give it a try... My spirit is a floating mist in the wind A flame blown out A river with no water A frame without a picture A ocean without waves A flower without petals A forest with no trees A book, with the pages ripped out A scabbard with no sword It is something, worth nothing But it still is I might as well let it die I have been holding on for no reason But I just can’t I am still hoping something Or someone can heal it Hoping…praying That someone can do something And stop my suffering Feed back is welcome wether good or bad. |
